  • In summer 2021, the Scottish Greens signed an historic power-sharing agreement with the SNP. It saw their two co-leaders become ministers in government, where they've stayed ever since. But the future of that deal is now in the balance amid internal unrest.
The anger felt by Green members seems to relate to three areas - the ditching of Scotland's 2030 climate target to cut emissions by 75%; the government's pushing through of a council tax freeze; and NHS Scotland's decision to pause the prescribing of puberty blockers.
Green members have now forced their leadership into holding an emergency meeting to debate whether to stay in government with the SNP.
Green party co-leader Patrick Harvie spoke to Scotland Tonight about the vote.
