That's Naim playing guitar, love him. He was our music industry tutor for a total of three lessons. Then he had to leave to do a world tour with these guys. Absolute legend.
My dudes! Absolutely kicking it with heart and fire! I'm Lovin it! Naim getting some great tones and playing his guitar with much grande criminal style. Fast and Frankie, you're great as always!🤠❤👍
Great energy and incredible climate. For me, the best concert of the entire festival. Thank you guys, I haven't had so much fun at a concert in a long time.
I was there that day. Wasn't very familiar with the band before.. When I heard first sounds from a distance I just came running to the scene. Good concert.
I love this band, I'm not going to lie to you, I miss Huey, but Fast carries the band on his shoulder and the result is amazing, of course I shouldn't be surprised because he's responsible for the music. I like this new version of the FLC, I still don't understand what led Huey to leave the band. I hope that the band can visit a place as far away from everything as Argentina. I love you guys
Me too, i agree with all you said, I was watching them in the late 90s a fair few times and the atmosphere they creates was pure magic, as an 11 year old they were my heroes, gangsters with guitars 😅 Fast is a legend for keeping the show going
I've been a fan since 1995 and truly love this band, but it's not quite the same without Huey. Still I will be marching out when they next play Manchester. We the three really worked!!! Hats off to the gents and the multi instrumentalist fast, frank on the drums and Naim on the 🎸😎
@@eternaljunker8300no he isnt dead.. according to google he left to concentrate on his career with radio 6. Hes awesome at what he does, should check it out
Great band. One of my all time favorites. Kind of weird and sad to see them without Huey, but I have to give props. Brian Leiser did a surprisingly great job carrying the lyrical torch. They still brought the FLC feels. Not an easy feat. Hope you guys can reconcile…life is too short. But the show must go on, so great job guys.
I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams, that the FLC could live without Huey, but here we go, and they are still amazing. Saw FLC 2 times in Aarhus, and specially the Classic Fantastic tour, was beyond amazing. I hope to see the FLC again in Denmark (also Aarhus) in the near future. Next time I hope to hear these songs live aswell: Southside, Classic Fantastic, Hello Again, You Got A Problem, That Ain't Right. The songs I love the most from FLC, are these downtempo/ballads songs, We Have All the Time in the World, The Truth, Will I Be Ready, El Malo, Methadonia, The View Belongs To Everyone, She's My Friend, and I understand they might be too slow for a festival set, but please include them in full concerts, or if you ever get a Amoeba Recordstore or Tiny Desk gig :) Bless you guys!
I think longtime fans deserve a few words of explanation as to why Huey left the band. You know, a simple post on Facebook is just.. unfair. It's a shame that Huey didn't say goodbye to his fans in any way. Your music was with me throughout middle school, high school, helped me survive college, and now as an adult close to 30 I am always happy to return to it. I wish you all the best. I was missed at the concert, but maybe next time. Greetings from Poland.
Remembering my honeymoon in 1997. We had asked the barman to play a CD of the band by the pool, if you had seen the faces of the two old Englishmen next to us : SOOOOO SHOOOOOCKED! 🤪
They absolutely rocked the house down, tight band always got love for the flc, even without huey they still give 100% true fans will pay good money to see flc even without huey, it wasn't a one man band after all
Love this band, great job, still kicking ass even without Huey, never give up, that's the way, we need a new album guys and come to Portugal...and the new member, Naim Cortazzi, looks cool and great player too!
Hey guys, I remember you saying that you were going to switch up the playlist every night. Could I beg and plead for Up On The Hill on the next tour please? It'd make my year.
Killer concert by FLC! Fast should have taken over vocal duties a long time ago. Frank is a monster behind the kit and Naim is a great new addition..... Huey who? (Not despising anyone's contributions) Big love Androcky Djv Kong
If Huey is not in this band how can they carry on existing?! I mean, clearly they are but I'm really surprised people are turning out to see them when the main guy isn't in them. This is like The Stones without Jagger or something!
What (who ?) makes a band ? Often there is one core guy, and it’s not always the singer. Of course as a romantic I love when band members don’t change, but life happens and I was curious to see this new formula, and Fast rules, being an all instruments and lead vocals. Too bad the sound mix is kind of crappy but it’s recorded live from a festival so its better than having nothing !
Saw the original line up when they opened for U2 in Edmonton, June of 1997 (Pop Mart tour). They were kickass. I was just as excited to see them as I was U2.
