selling everything even for 2silvers?well yeah-if u dont mind posting it few hours every day(even with tsm 500 items for example takes 30min)and with ur pace and theory that we sell all you would hit several thousand items very soonish
Hey bro! As a fellow gold maker I would highly advise against having bank characters as a level 1 character, you are better off opting for level 10 characters (Allied Race as they virtually start at the main city /stormwind or ogrimmar). The reason you would opt for a level 10+ storage / banker is because any character level 10 or higher is restorable whereas a level 1 is not. If for any reason you are hacked or accidentally delete your character, this advice will save you and your audience from potential issues of restoration :)

Probably a good idea...however I made a lvl 1 bank toon and I am just gonna level them to 10
def agree, if you have brutosaur mount you can get on it immediately as well and just need a mailbox anywhere in game. the allied races don't even have to run for their lives getting to capital city either. they get a quest to step through portal straight to embassy w/ mailbox if bruto avail. I cross realm shopped this way for mog or patterns i need myself or intend on flipping on my low pop server

Small tip when you get to the end of the dungeon you can use the ability teleport moonglade, then use it again when it comes off the 1 min cd and it teleports you to the dungeon entrance so you don’t have to run back
I know this video is a bit older and you'll probably not see this but a good idea would be do the quests in old Dalaran to get the mailbox toy so you can send mail in the middle of a run to your bank alt. And maybe consider getting the Jeeves toy so you can sell all untradable items so you dont have to worry about potential raw gold losses.

Damn. UA-cam recommending me an absolute banger holy. And I couldn't agree more with the first tip! I had to learn how to manage everything by myself since many of the "high profile" goldmakers barely mentioned anything about it. Also about Scarlet Monastery; speed is your friend! So if anyone reading this is a bit of a min-max player like me, you can, with a bit of gold investment make yourself a speedy demon druid toon that clears the dungeon in around 3 minutes and reaches lockout in a total of 30-33minutes

Blackwing Lair is lucrative because Nefarian drops the rarest Classic stuff and I got plenty of gold just from recipes or rare BoEs he can drop - even if you don't have skinning you will do great on those runs.
@kocained great content! You mentioned having to delete some stuff during a run, are you aware of the toybox item Katys steam mail whistle (or something similar name) that can summon a mailbox?
The main issue with transmog farm, is not to loot items but to sell them.
Keep all the mogs for your self muhahahhahaha
I don't hear this being said a lot. If you have a lot of alts. Like I have 12 70s. If you do the dragon race WQs on all of them, that's ~4k per toon twice a week for 30 mins or so per toon assuming you have maxed DR talents. So for me, that's about 86k per week just doing that. It gets boring though so I don't do it all the time. There's also a bunch of other WQs that give a lot of gold but they generally take more time than the Dragon races.

I’m a returning player and I’m a mount farmer first and foremost so I’m struggling to make gold 😅
this is really helpful for me, when running old dungeons, which dungeons should you do or are all of them good and would you take all of your loot and mail it to your bank alt? Ive returned to WoW a few months back so im a bit uneducated. And then you sell everything?
Uldaman is one of the best farms too do if you intend on selling everything you get.
What if you are on a dead server where no product moves on the AH?
boss are actually super vauable on freehold (not the arena one) bc they can loot pricey weapons and they are not long to do (you can kill 2/3 with mobs, and firfst one pops the time you need to pick up corps anyway). In addition I don't think "wasting time" is revelant if you hit 10 dj/hours anyway (depending of the rentability of the time wasted but it's clearly worth it for FH). I need 4min to get 1000 raw gold killing 3 out of 4 bosses

Sorry you feel that way, it depends on your server, and information is not always 100% accurate within TSM, I always suggest double checking in the AH. Which is what I did once I was done with my runs. I have it up for the $4,800 myself, because the only other one up was for $4,900.
I actually recorded myself checking prices within my AH and posting to prove my runs and avoid comments like this, but the video would have been drawn out and much longer.

how does tsm work if someone has a bid set for theirs? does it undercut the bid or set a bid for your item??
It only bases its information off the buy it now price on that item, so if an item is only bids, it will not include that information. Bids are arbitrary and not a good source to gain information from when selling items anyway, so only go off of items with a buy it now :)
is there a server that is recommended for transmog selling every server I am on currently I have had transmogs from scarlet monastery runs that haven't sold in going almost on a year so thinking about just DEing them with my enchanter.

I used to make 10K per toon a day on my then 15 toons on garrison salvage crates. Made my millions then. Easy gold. Good times. I should have gotten the rooster mount then for something like 100K. Now it's probably A LOT more expensive. Oh, well. I have most of the fancy mounts. I want my magic rooster, I think that's what it's called, from a card game of some sort.

It’s a weak aura! Just search cursor weak aura and there are many to choose from :)
I did 3 runs and got a gross profit of 1.7k Gold. Not at all close to 7-8k. Its entirely dependent on what realm you're playing on. If you're on a role playing realm than sure but if not don't even bother with the SM run
SM runs are great for a lot of people, because of how easy it is to run through, but like any transmog gold farm, there are a ton of variables in it all.
Like in the video it is very common for me to get times worth 3-6k alone, but I am also on a high pop realm and I’m lucky enough where it used to be a pvp server, so not a lot of gold farmers are on it as much as an older pve server for example.
Gold making in any sense in wow is all subjective, there is nothing really definitive which is why it can be a challenge for some, so to me the most consistent ways are either raw gold or transmog runs. With the new cross server trading, you can even mail those items to a lvl 1 on another server and start selling then mail the gold back :) so there really isn’t any realm limitations anymore.
Ah this helps so much I was dreading to run a new lvl 70 on a high pop server just so I could gold/transmog farm lol rip never mind i can't trade with my other servers it says cannot trade to this character.
Are RP servers good to generally sell on? I know it will vary, obviously. Entertaining and useful video. I love how humble you are, especially in your comment replies. I know this won't work for everyone, but as a returning player who loves playing the auction, this gives me some ideas.
YES! RP servers are in fact some of the best servers to sell on for many reasons, the biggest of which being that transmog items will sell faster (generally) because of people role playing, they are also among the type of servers you can sell gray items via the AH because of said role playing.

It’s a weak aura! Can search up “weak aura cursor” and choose the style that you prefer the most :)
This sounds great in theory, but transmogs don't really sell that well... Or at all in most cases...
It depends on the sever, that’s most of what I sell and how I make my gold is transmog items along with little things in between such as materials and crafting items etc. as fillers to keep cash flow coming in.

I am not! Usually old dungeons I just leave it at whatever I had it on last, but normal works fine!

What issues are you having? It’s best to team it up with their desktop app, just make an account and download the desktop app, sign in on that before opening WoW :) that should do the trick!

Right now when trying to post items I get an error because of some check with crafting value or something, and it tells me to go into settings and change some stuff. Not sure, anyway, ignoring that for now, downloading app / creating account first.
Also i save EVERY item that have speed on self.
uhm For Horde and the Guild character. Make an Vulpera they start at lvl 10 in Og and have extra bag slots. Just saying.

This is a universal guide for the current iteration of the game, which means the casual player probably doesn’t have allied races. By doing what you suggested the entire beginning of the video is nulled for a lot of people. I’m making this to appeal to a wide audience. :) Just like I didn’t talk about heirloom mounts because not only does everyone not have it, but in some cities/areas it is not worth the cast time to walk 2 feet.

TSM doesnt put items for real prices.Could lost more than 50k just cuz TSM wanted to post some items for 10g and real price on AH is 5k+
Make sure you have a TSM account and running their desktop app before loading wow to ensure proper server prices and you can also set custom values within the help to ensure this doesn’t happen :) have not had any issues myself yet

did about 18 freehold runs and 12 SM this my secound day of trying to sell the greens and mats. so faar im at a 100g-

So the transmog sells take some time, my nearly 5k pants from SM took a week+ to sell, others can take a few weeks+, but that is why I sell in mass.. and I’m always constantly posting things for sale. The unfortunate thing about transmog selling is it does in fact take time, but when big items sell it makes it worth it.
I had a few guildies follow these methods and they are doing quite well, but it is also taking them time to sell transmog items.
The mats on the other hand, and skinning items sell usually same day or the following however. Especially since mats and reagents are now global on the AH.
Really appreciate the feedback! I’ll be making more gold videos that don’t rely so much on transmog items in the near future for those that are in need of more definitive cash flow.
Ya my SM items are not selling great I have been doing a year of SM runs trying to sell its been almost a full year and none of it has sold for me I mostly get undercut by 100-200g on the things in SM even some people are selling them at a Gold or 50s. But it could be a server issue too. I am wondering if it would be more profitable to just DE them instead.

It depends on the server you’re on, I have NEVER had issues selling transmog items ever since transmog was a thing. This is why in the video there are little things to help supplement transmog items.
In the time you spend selling small items for months, I can sell one transmog item being patient and make more in the same time frame. It’s all about patience and consistency. To me, it’s fun re listing items and seeing if something sells. It’s all personal preference for people :)

@@samuel9294 that could be why, lots of competition. Also depends on what type of server it was before every server became the same layout. Example, RP realms, pvp etc. There are a lot of variables for anything you’re selling on any realm, not just transmog, but I will say it’s not for everyone but that doesn’t mean it isn’t for someone :) I’ll be releasing other ways of gold farming though soon to help those who want something a little more definitive.
@@peralexirl Do a video on Tol'vir hieroglyph, its a very consistent farm, i get 40-50k/h, i think its probably one of the best farms right now.
