"Smashed birds" Reminds me of a story I wrote to read in class in middle school about a little bird named Fluffy who flew into a tree and died. I wrote it in middle-school anger, but everyone fell out of their chairs laughing. And then I couldn't stop laughing, too. So I learned something, but I don't know what.
I can't believe this performance has only a few likes because it is so good! this performance made me fall in love with Sóley and since then this give me a peace you can't imagine.
Always so endearing. Every performance more beautiful than the last. Although I did love her latest appearance on KEXP with the full band, it was really lovely having just the beautiful, awkward intimacy of Sóley this time for a change. Genuine heart.
