I lost my friend yesterday morning. This song came to mind.
I've heard many wonderful versions of this song by many great singers, but I've never heard better. Bravo, Siobhan!

Great voice and presence and superb musicians and great venue well done so calming and entertaining.
Have just been lucky enough to hear Siobhan at the Illawarra Folk Festival in Australia - and thankfully she sang Bonny Light Horseman. Her voice is unbelievably good - simply amazing.

Yes-pronounced 'Shivonne'
It has an origin in Gaelic, thus could be Irish; Scots; or Manx (or from anywhere else a parent fancied the name).
I always understood it to mean "fair one" typically irish gaelic. Lovely voice

One Lone Celt it’s a Gaelicisation of “Joan”, so it, like Sean, Ian, Iain, and Sinéad all come from the Hebrew Yohannon (don’t get it twisted, Mohammad is only the most “common” name in the world because it doesn’t vary in spelling/pronunciation overly much, variations on Yohannon, or if we think about it from an English POV, different versions of “John” are the most common name in the world) and Yohannon originally meant God (Yahweh/YHWH) is Gracious.
