The video was quite factually accurate and well structured.
But I have to point out the very unfortunate visual at 9:52 . The red truck bears the logo of American Budweiser, whose producer (AB-Inbev) is the bitter enemy and main competitor of the Czech Budweiser Budvar brewery, which is being discussed in the voiceover at that moment. I would recommend editing out the truck, as most Czech audiences will react hostilely, and non-Czech audiences will just be confused.
Well, then watch it again and notice the stock footage of Liechtenstein and Poland. This video is, for the lack of a better term, crap.
Wonderfully butchered names, I had a good laugh, thanks 😀
Dyje😂😂I was dying😂😂
Also wonderfully butchered facts and often stock footage of entirely different countries. :-)
Background music 👌
Greetings from Alabama USA. New subscriber. Enjoy your vids.
As a Czech, I laughed at some of the narrator's pronunciation, but it is understandable.
Enjoying your videos cheers from Greg in Australia 😊
Awesome! Thank you! Glad you like them.
Yeah; sadly the quality of research in them is extremely poor.
0:52 that's not our crown! You mention Charles IV, who made the St Wenceslas crown, but show some other crown.
1:00 He also founded the oldest university in Central Europe.
1:05 Why are you talking about St Vitus Cathedral and showing the Old Town Hall's tower (only to show the cathedral at 1:18)?
1:42 the Wikipedia has IPA transcriptions of the names, throughout the video, it's awful how you butcher them.
2:00 Prague didn't "emerge" as a cultural centre, it had already been. Don Giovanni had its premiere here!
I can't watch this any longer
Finally someone who hates this video as much as I do. The stock footage of Vaduz, Wroclaw and Warsaw also didn't help much. :-)
The video also showed a Mercedes inerior with the prominent 3 pointed star when talking about Skoda and at 9:09 Hotel Sacher in vienna.
KSČM is no longer selected
Mostly pictures from Prague. There is so much to see outside Prague that is said you didn´t show it. But thanks for the main shortage of information.
Such as Liechtenstein and Wroclaw? :D :D
This is far more digestible content for me, in comparison with, for example Geography now, no harsh pace, super style, thank you!
Also, unlike Geography Now, half the information given isn't true.
2:26 - that picture is not from Czech Rep. I'm not sure, but I think it's Warsaw, Poland.
6:55 - When talking about the president, you have a picture of Straka academy (seat of prime minister and government).
you are right its Warsaw
There's also Wroclaw and Liechtenstein; and the US Budweiser and I'm sure more I didn't notice. The research on this video is so poor.
We also have the Pirate party.
Robot voice is no for me, dislike and no more show on my page sry
Isn't there an old ex- monarchy family that runs and owns all castles in Czechia??? Saw a tour of the castle in prage, the son gave tour , no mention in this video they own vineyards also ans make wine.
What are you talking about? There's a sh*tload of false information in the video but if yours was added, it would make it way worse. Prague castle is (and always was) owned by the government. And so are still most of the castles in the country. A lot of noble families got their properties back after the fall of communism, yes, but there is no single family that would get anything close to "all castles in Czechia", as there never was a noble family as powerful, not even any of the royal houses.
@@MikeGill87 Apart from influence and "how would one family get all the castles" after the fall of comunism: As an austrian i would think czechia must have as many castles "per square kilometer" as we have, or the germans have, and that means it would be utterly financially impossible for one family to even own _all_ the castles.
(considering how much money is needed to just keep a castle in it's current state and not let it deteriorate.)
Very good informations. There used to be normal temperatures -5 to -10°C once per few winters may have reached -20°C even near Prague and top temperatures used to be 28°C, but it all shifted in the last 20 years almost +10°C up. There is barely a winter and summers are 32-34°C many days in a row for 2 months. (im from north-east of a Prague, central-Czechia reagion)
ua-cam.com/video/X4uqdcOLpig/v-deo.html IMHO it is not picture from Czech republic
It's Vaduz, Liechtenstein, closely followed by Wroclaw, Poland. This video is a piece of crap.
Indeed those mountains are Alps, architecture in the village is not a Czech as well I might say it could be somewhere in Austria or Bavaria and btw and that part of Silesia is in Poland imho
Many of the shots are from completely different places than the ones he talks about, often not even shots from the Czech Republic (shots from Budapest, for example, or mountains that don't really look like this in the Czech Republic). The shot at 4:48 showing the aurora borealis, the possibility of seeing it in the Czech Republic is absolutely minimal, rather a truly extraordinary event, is also very misleading. This video is really poorly done and I would describe the information contained in it and the accompanying videos as quite misleading!
And to show an American Budweiser while talking about Czech beer is like spitting in the face of all Czechs.
Wow. So much wrong about this video. I like the sentiment of trying to promote the country, but half the time you're showing stock footage of entirely different countries (Liechtenstein, Poland...) and half the time your information is very misleading. Based on on all that and the crappy, often non-working embedded subtitles, I would say it took you about four hours to make this + one hour for rendering maybe? A very poorly made and researched video.
one think i cant get over are those subtitles - me as czech can easily understand your spoken language, so your ppl should do the same...
I can't get over the stock footage of Liechtenstein, Wroclaw and the pisswater American Budweiser...
No, za mě nám to dobrou reklamu teda rozhodně nedělá.
The local names are not supposed to be pronounced with English pronunciation... This was so laughable :)
Es como los hispanoamericanos pronuncian en inglés muchas palabras en español, no saben pronunciar el acento 😂
Its Czechia
And sometimes Liechtenstein and Poland...
