- Evil lives among us my friends. I hate these cases, but they happen every day. There is a legal entanglement where they ask if for the Judge to be recused that could get interesting.
Caution trigger warning. This is a SA case. I bleeped out all graphic words and described them in cleaner language for those who need to know. However, he is a monster and tries to blame his daughter after claiming it was an accident. Watch with care.

🤦♂️ ~ I’m somewhat conflicted on this. Obviously none of us are going to mind him being extremely punished and never having the chance to hurt other children. But her decisions can affect how lawyers tell other clients to act in front of her. Think about it, if he had just said all the right words and just acted like he understood what he did was wrong, he would’ve got 15 years. The lawyers in the future will advise their clients to fake remorse. I want defendants to tell the whole truth to the judge. That way they get the help they need. All you’ve done is teach this defendant, and like I said others after him, to lie and act like they understand what they’ve done is wrong when they really do not understand it completely.b

If his SIX YEAR OLD DAUGHTER is acting sexual towards him, it’s because there has been ongoing sexual abuse by him. She learned it from him.

I thought the same thing. The child learned her behavior from him or someone else. She was six! When I was abused at ten years old, I had no idea what sex was.
They need to extend capital punishment for pedophiles.
I'm usually pro-cap punishment, but in the case of a pedo, I believe a life sentence is better. Why? Because the suspect will suffer over and over at the hands of the other prisoners.

I knew a man who was extensively sexually abused as a boy. One of the many things he cried about was that people who knew might not trust him around children because of it. Just another last nightmare abusers leave their victims to cope with.
I chose never to have kids ever because of the 4buse I suffered from. My brother too. The generational 4buse stops with us two. The family line ends.

This judge is a -boss-. Knows the power she has, wields it well, and doesn't care who she pisses off so long as the victims are protected and the law is upheld.
The judge took a gamble and lost. The child is in therapy, mother of the girl tried to protect her from reliving the trauma on the stand and talking about what was done to her in front of strangers. That’s the reason for a plea deal. Now the girl will be forced to testify. This is not a win for the victim.

I am 60 and am still dealing with the childhood sexual abuse I experienced. That poor baby will have to deal with this ordeal for life. I have yet to see child predators get “fixed” by therapy or whatever treatment is out there. He is disturbed. He can’t be rehabilitated, he must be taken straight to jail forever!

When this guy was talking about this, I almost expected one of his lines to the judge to be "Well, what'd you expect me to do if she was showing herself like that?" Like it was somehow an inevitable thing that he would do. He's a horrible person and he deserves life in prison because that's pretty much what he gave his victim.

I don't know whether what really happened was that he'd abused her so much that she was prematurely sexualized and reacting to the trauma by genuinely showing her bottom more than she normally would, or if she simply behaved like a normal child, which often involves being fairly oblivious to whether she's visible or not. She *should* be able to be oblivious around her family. She should be able to move around without thinking about her body around her own family, and not have her father do horrible things to her. So one very probable answer to "What did she want me to do, when she showed herself like that?" might be "She wanted you to act like a *FATHER,* dammit, and protect her innocence by letting her move freely within the house, wearing or not wearing whatever was appropriate to the situation, and not having reason to notice or care if she happened to have her dress ride up while she played on the floor."
If his daughter was literally spreading her legs and pulling her pants down that is evident she had already been assualted if not by him then there may another abuser near her. Horrible

First of all...where did the 6 y/o learn to spread her vagina to him? She's been exposed to it somewhere! And if the father is a victim of it in his past. He should know how that messes you up. I was sexually abused at 12 y/o by my uncle. I'm 66y/o now and I've never ever had a desire to touch a child sexually nor have I done it! 15 years is not enough for this crime! I applaud Judge Boyd!

I hate hearing excuses for abuse of children. My father was a horrific, violent man, broke my back when I was 9, subjected me to almost daily out of control physical abuse. I didn't abuse my kids as a result; if anything, I was more cautious with my own temper. As a result of all the abuse, I suffer 24/7 chronic pain. It's a constant reminder. My own children are not to blame nor did I take it out on them.

I come from a family with a history of mental illness and anger issues so when I began having children I made sure to keep a close eye on my mental health and a tight rein on my temper so that my children would never fear me as I did some of the adults that were in my life as I was growing up.

I am 66 years old and was seriously abused as a child by an alcoholic stepfather. My sister received permanent brain damage from being beaten with a wooden cutting board. My POS stepfather never spent more than a night in jail. The cops would come to our house, see the carnage, and do absolutely nothing to help us. That monster ruined our lives and permanently affected our cognitive development. I still have nightmares and I have been working with the guilt about my poor sister. The defense attorney in this case is a POS and so is the prosecutor. I have three great kids and two grandchildren. I have never beaten them or treated them in an inappropriate way because when I was going through that hell, I made a promise to myself that I would never mistreat any children I have. I have kept that promise and I have no sympathy for child abusers.
The prosecuter was just trying to get some kind of justice for the child in a swift manner instead of dragging things out for years and possibly needing the child to testify in court, bringing up the abvse she suffered, possibly being in the same room as her abvser.. The prosecuter even said she was more than happy to increase the length of the jail sentence. It sucks that our judicial system is so f'ed up but 15 years in prison and deportation would be better than no punishment at all. Thankfully, Judge Boyd don't play when it comes to cases like this and was pushing for more prison time because the guy deserves every day behind bars that they can give him.

I was abused as a child and I can assure you-it stay with you and colors your entire life. It wasn't until 2013 that I was able to discover things hidden deep in my subconscious then figure out how to take control of my life-in a positive and 100 percent appropriate way.

The reason they give for it not to be is they are afraid that child abusers will just kill the kids because it is no worse and they will more likely get away with it.

Watch mandoo’s channel on parole hearings in Louisiana and what you’ll find out is that many of them thrive in prison and in fact perpetrators of child rape and incest often come to parole hearings after a shockingly short period of incarceration. When interviewed by the board, many continue to blame the child.
This is a Judge that all future judges should aspire to be. She is intelligent, present and fair.

I came across Judge Boyd’s courtroom a few weeks ago and truly believe she is one of the most intelligent and thoughtful judges I’ve observed. She possess the characteristics a great judge should have.

Being 72yrs old I’ve seen some changes in this country; I was born and raised in Chester Pa. Which now is predominately black. Civil rights riots in the 60’s forced white flight and if you didn’t live through it you wouldn’t understand today.
Judge Boyd is a living personification of exactly what the fight was about; to watch her run her courtroom and hand down her opines, even though they might just be plea deals, is inspiring and I guarantee you that in the riotous years of the 60’s not too many people would have thought it possible…

Judge Boyd is by-the-book and fair and business-like. She gets to the point of things and doesn't waste precious time. For her to look straight at this defendant and say,"What is wrong with you???!!" shows her level of disgust and horror. It has got to be extremely difficult for her,or ANY judge, to have to bring this home with them, night after night after night. It's not something you can easily just forget😓 Thank you to these judges and lawyers for all they endure to get justice for these poor, little, innocent ones.

I think he needs to do life. He not only won't take any responsibility, but he blames the victim! Judge Boyd is what all judges should be like. There are way too many ridiculous plea deals and sentences that judges just push through. We need to start holding prosecutors and judges accountable. He's not even a citizen so deport him and let him spend life in a Mexican jail. ETA: Why didn't the prosecutor start with a higher number of years? If the statute is what you say, then he should never have been offered anything less than the minimum. What a disgusting excuse for a man and father.
they offer a plea that's below the likely minimum sentence a court will impose as a lure to get people to enter the plea, saving the prosecution a lot of time they can then spend watching videos and drinking lattes.

Judge Boyd was correct in her assessment. He did not accept any blame and 15yrs was stupid low. Whoever the judge was presiding over 227th District Court in San Antonio TX, on Aug. 4, accepted the 15yr sentence for multiple counts of sexual assault on a 6yr old, needs to be voted out of office.
As a sexual assualt victim, I get so frustrated with that being an excuse for hurting others. I would NEVER want anyone else to go through the trauma. It's pathetic.
