Lamar Jackson: 'Sky is the limit' for Baltimore Ravens offense (FULL INTERVIEW) | FNIA | NFL on NBC
/ nflonnbc - Спорт
Lamar’s such a class act. All the hate he gets is so undeserved. I just don’t get it
bc he black, humble, and rare. Like Jackie Robinson.
He only gets the hate, because he went against the grain. What I mean by that is ( he never changed positions ) and he proved all of the naysayers wrong. Lol & he said it best ( Not bad for a Running Back ) & he also gets a lot of hate, because he had no ( Agent ) = shattering all expectations & he is still having success & he embraced his Mother’s words over anybody else. He is a special breed of player & I am happy that we have him. 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜 ✌🏾 I’m not buying the ( he’s black stuff ) because there were and are plenty of black QB’s but how many black QB’s have had this kind of success in the ways that I just mentioned, in their over all career. ( Not many ) ✌🏾
You Know Why .....Action Jackson is killing the Typical White QB ....So now All The Chikdren WHITE & BLACK & MEXICAN & ASIAN wants 2B LAMAR ......not Pat McHolems
It is deserved bc they always hating on the best and he is in fact the BEST
He gets criticised because he does not come up big sometimes.
Lamar is the most down to earth, humble quarterback in the league, gets no respect because he doesn’t seek the attention (no national commercials) him and his mother didn’t have to pay an agent, so he’s not liked by certain media members who said he was not going to get his money, laughed at him having his mother as his agent. Baltimore you got a winner! F the noise
😂😂 ravens some frauds
@@kiaadams104 Nah we good
Humble? No humble dude wanted max contract...nah....ravens fraud brother
@@kiaadams104cowboys haven’t beat anyone with a winning record all year and the dolphins haven’t either but we are the frauds after beating all the winning record teams this year

Our Quarterback! Lamar Action Jackson! Smart and Humble!
He is the hero to all the new age QBs coming in the NFL. The NFL won't like what's coming. Our guys are taking over
I agree!! We can win it all this year
@@RUTHLESSambition5Mr 25% going on 12.5%? 😂
@whataboutrob5812 that his loss percentage? Sounds about right
He definitely got smarter since joining the league because I’m his school his gpa wasn’t high
Perfect answers across the board.
Cranberry sauce mid, consistency is key, Keeping yo teammates praised, Life is good. Lamar IQ is huge.
Bro, perfect comment across the board too. Couldn’t agree more.
Say what you want, Lamar is a straight humble guy! He doesn't talk badly about anyone. Im glad he is The Ravens QB. Im excited about these upcoming games and hopefully make it to the SB. Lamar deserves it.
Message to Lamar Jackson we love you here in Baltimore stay focused and get the rings
Not just Baltimore the whole hood behind LJack 😂💯
Lamar much more at ease in TV interviews these days. Good to see.
ONLY with ex players
He's getting older, even more mature and he understands how much of a business football is, and he understands the media .
how can you not like this guy
"Only 1 Mark Andrews" the respect, chemistry, camaraderie and brotherhood between these 2 future champions is unmatched. The tenacity these men bring is uncommon. Love the love between them. Super bowl bound baby🎉
Somebody gotta step up tho...
@@TheRealPSKilla502Isaiah Likely or Vokolek man. Dude went wild in preseason. Hope they bring him up off PS
I can tell Lamar is getting more and more confident when speaking to the media and within himself during the years. Great person and great human being.
As a Chiefs fan, I’m a big admirer of Lamar. The guy is a legend, and his Ravens are the only AFC team that worries me in the postseason. Respect.
Their best ability is to win ugly games similar to you guys
This is the most open honest and loose interview I've seen with Lamar and you can tell how much he processes this game when he talks about it. But this right here 6:40 is what makes him a great leader.
This was good but when signed his extension then went on the lounge to me that was the most ever seen him express his feelings.
Whenever an ex player interviews Lamar he always seems far more relaxed
Lamar in his own lane, with the nicest pair of Crocs I've seen.
Best QB in the NFL.
facts
False
Gonna be the second best QB on the field Sunday night!
@@christiansalt8079 It Looks like the Ravens did it again. Can you say three-peat.
This dude just genuinely puts a smile on ur face
Look at his stats, they don't lie. Lamar is one of the greats!
I just love my quarterback, his humbleness, and realness is unmatched . I have watched him grow into the man he is today , every season . working on his craft and coming back every season better and better. You can always see the grind. Keep building Lamar . I want Lamar to win his chip so badly . He talked about it on draft day . He has worked his butt off. im so proud of you, Lamar. Let's Goooo !!!!
He doesn’t know you
@mj2wavy651 What is your point? , I never said , I knew him personally. But i have watched him for six years, so I've seen him move enough to make state my opinion.
I can’t understand why this guy has haters. He’s humble and a damn good player. 🟣⚫️🟣⚫️
I’ll say this glad he’s our quarterback!!!
I'll just say that some people only like people who talk and act a certain way, and Lamar ain't that guy. He sounds a certain way so they think he's not intelligent. He plays a certain way so they think he's incapable of being great. In reality he's one of the smartest guys I've ever seen play the QB position and now that he has the mechanics to hit all the throws he's gone from a very good passer to an elite one. But some folks see a guy who talks and plays like him and assume bad things for whatever reason.
@@theghosty99 you sir you get it round of applause 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 mic drop 🎤🎤
@@theghosty99there's your answer everyone.. nail on the head!
He selfish, he only plays for himself and the Money, lol...he faked injury last playofs.
I don't know how you can not like or relate to this dude. Absolute stand-up guy, very humble & once in a generation talented player. One of one. Haters keep drinking that haterade. LJ8 & the Baltimore Ravens are gonna win all the way year in & year out. Go Ravens!!! 😈🖤💜🐦⬛🏈
Actually, AFC teams loves Lamar...cause he always chokes when it matters most (Playoffs)...he is the Gift that keeps on Giving😂😂
@@weretekataknina102 This is all you have in life isn't it? Touch some grass or smoke some. 😂😂😂😂
Lamar is the main reason Ravens' fortunes changed and Harbaugh's tenure rescued. Lamar like Atlas continues to carry the whole Ravens organization on his shoulders. He has veiled deficiencies in management -- drafting and investing in quality receivers etc. -- and antiquidated coaching philosophies.
Yet they have wasted some of the best years of this generational talent because of a lack of "faith". Yes Harbaugh I said it. "Faith".
Started down the same road with Mitchell. The road called "lack of "faith" soon to be renamed "Doubt".
Some sort of modified Louisville offense to capitalize on his familiarity might have transitioned him and the Ravens to a Conference Championship and Super Bowl by now.
Management and the coaching staff are the main reasons for these late game collapses.
What are you talking about with Mitchell? Mitchell made the 53 and then got hurt twice. They weren't hiding him. Stop making up stuff.
How many pro bowl WRs did Ozzie draft? Or any coach before harbaugh. Maybe Flacco winning the Super Bowl and getting paid put the team in a difficult situation?
Your broad brush take is lacking. Im cool with the scrutiny, but all I ask is if you are in the position to criticize, please don’t absolve some parties and lay the burden on just the ones of your choosing.
Could harbaugh do better?Absolutely, but I guarantee if you ask Lamar he would tell you he could also, and andrews, and EDC, and on and on.
Ravens are a premier franchise and you can count on one hand the orgs that are clearly better presently.
@@dougprishpreed7400 It is a simple eye test and math. Before Lamar and after Lamar. Not hard. Sure we could delve into the details and minutae. It is simple arithmetic. Mediocre record before Lamar winning record after.
Yes its a team sport and "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts" however "sum" parts are greater than others.
Ever hear of Moses? Good. How about one of his 70 elders lower in the hierarchy? Not so much.
Yes it's speculative however what was the climate like regarding Harbaugh's tenure just prior to Lamar? Was his position relatively secure?
Yes players need infrastructure -- management and coaches trainers and staff but players make coaches and Harbaugh needs Lamar more than vice versa. Anyone with eyes can see that.
Management and the coaching staff were lazy in their approach with Lamar. My opinion may be different than yours or anyone elses its mine regardless.
The generational talent that is Lamar required a seismic pivot in the culture of the Ravens' organization and they were not ready to make the sacrifice. "Business as usual" "status quo".
One example. Humour me. Wayne Gretzky. Not the prototypical hockey player. On the small side. Prolific scorer in the lower ranks setting and breaking records. Passed on by many. He was different and unorthodox and ungainly.
An expansion franchise took a chance on him and surrounded him with talent and "body guards". That may be the key. They were a new organization willing to take risks think outside the box sense the "winds of change" and go "all in". They were not stuck in the mud of the past.
They played a kind of hybrid North American European "fire wagon" brand of hockey which was unique and untraditional and very fast and entertaining. I am sure it was poo pooed by the established gurus but the rest is history. The boy broke more records than any other sport "can shake a stick at."
It didn't take too long before they dethroned the New York Islanders to whom they lost in the finals previously and went on to win I think -- getting old -- 4 straight Stanley Cups.
I routed for my home team which wasn't as good and always lost to the Edmonton Oilers and we did not have an "all time great" generational talent but I still admired them as a kid.
Long winded essay aside I have seen almost 6 decades of different sports and sometimes wasted talent is mostly the player's fault. Not in Lamar's case. The Ravens half a$$%# it.
Take it or leave it.
You're insane. Ozzie and Decosta have put together amazing rosters for Lamar
And uh... you know Mitchell would have been on the 53 if he wasn't on IR to begin he season. Then got hurt the game he returned again for a couple weeks....
Lamar is the same respectful man he was in Louisville. Very humble and kind. Went all the way to Pittsburgh to see him and he was out with injuries. Love to go to Baltimore for a game with my grandson who went to Steelers game with me.
He always shares more of the credit than he could, and takes more than his share of the blame. Great leaders always do. I love this guy.
5:34 damn he feels exactly how me and a lot of Ravens fans do, we hate when the media praises us we ain't tryin to hear dat shit talk about someone else we like being the underdogs and flying under the radar
My thoughts exactly.
He fits Baltimore perfectly
Hell yeah i feel the same way
Absolute facts 💯 Lamar feels like the ravens fans feel . They can keep that fake love .
💯💯💯
The best QB!The hate on Lamar,is just unfair! He's won heisman, unanimous MVP,most rushing yard's,hes gonna be for sure in the hall of fame if win's couple more MVPs and championship. He's great quarterback, can do it all passing(btw his so underated passer)rushing(the best rushing qb in the game)he's humble, seems great person and doesn't had problems outside the field. Amazing person and amazing player, deserves the MVP this year and of course, deserves a championship.
Great interview! I love how my man was to the point with the questions! Let's go Flock!💜💜💜

Great interview, who wouldn’t buy stuff from someone so grounded and honest?
Need you to go crazy on FFB points this weekend, King 🤴
Best in the game. Also the most humble and down to earth. We love you 8 🖤💜
Been a Lamar fan since his college days at Louisville. His humility is not an act. Have had numerous conversations with some of his former teammates and coaches. They all say pretty much the same thing. He’s a better person than he is a football player.
Man, that hand shake was a thing of beauty.
This makes me so happy. Both very good people right here
Loved the reaponse to the contract what did you buy question.."i bought my mom a different car" such a mature young man
Great guy😊😊😊
