How Wrist Corsages Are Made

Whether it is a school formal, wedding, or other special occasion, wrist corsages are a beautiful way to accessorise and have been for decades. However, not a lot is often understood as to what goes into making one. Most simply call a florist and order one, then poof it is miraculously made before the day you need it, but why do you have to order one? Why are they, not something you can buy ready-made?
Well in this video, we show you the painstaking detail and time that goes into making a wrist corsage. You'll notice that we've had to speed the process up a bit digitally, as most corsages take at least 30 minutes to create!
*Please note, there are many techniques that florists use to create wrist corsages (I know about 3 different ways but there are more out there). There are also many different embellishments that can be added such as diamante, pearl, or elastic bracelets, ribbons, gems, etc. Simply discuss this with your florist to find out how creative you can be.
Not all corsages are made exactly the same by different florists, and this is just one of the techniques I've learned over my 12+ years working in the floristry industry.
