Congratulations on making it past Shiloh. This is a very painful and unpleasant battle for the Union, and a huge hurdle for the campaign. Now it is behind you.
- I have fought this battle several times, and things can go horribly wrong. One time, about half of my units surrendered during the massive CSA charges that always take place when the map opens up. Like I said, things can go painfully wrong in this battle.
- In my last battle of Shiloh, a couple of weeks ago on MG Lite, I put every recruit into the army and really scaled up the AI. I think he had a couple of units of 4k each. From what your video shows, it might be the best plan to scale down the Union army and keep the CSA units as small as possible. That seems to be the best plan, and then let the allied units do some of the heavy lifting. On the plus side, I recovered a lot of good weapons from the CSA because he brought (and lost) so many men.

Yes, this battle took a few tries and a few different configurations. The confederate charges were very tough to deal with. I was glad I had allied units to take the heavy losses to hold the confederates off. Thanks for supporting the channel!
