I loved ME:A. Of course areas that could have been better but I still really enjoyed it. After reading the three ME:A books, I had a lot more appreciation for some of the NPCs (Tann, Addison, Sloane, Cora).
I dunno, i also sorta hated the unskippable loading screens. But the Relay spinning got to me after a while, too. I also agree that the Angara were cool, but I get why people wanted more aliens.
I always felt that the whole "My face is tired" line was just the developers way of excusing bad facial animations. On the unskippable loading screens I think most people had problems with it because it was noticeable. The elevators hiding the loading screens was a clever trick and while you were locked in place you could move the camera and hear the news. The elevators didn't "feel" like a loading screen so they were excused. In Andromeda, they're just a cutscene that you have to sit through and can't interact with them so it feels like time wasted. And people forget that the other games also had long loading screens undisguised. For me, the Normandy loading screens in ME2 always dragged on. The Kett being discount Reapers/Collectors? Yeah, agreed. I don't like the Kett at all, but they're not just a rehash.
I admit alot of the complaints for this game were overblown and most graphical issues were patched in a decent amount of time. My biggest issues with the game is that the planet exploration is almost just as boring as previous games. Theres very little to explore and only 2 that were truly visually interesting got boring fast. Also the dialog felt so stunted. Im not asking for the paragon renegade system to come back i just want my choices to actually match what my character says.
I think all my complaints are the story is fuzzy and shallow. There is not really enough to engage me in most of the story.

I don't like the unskippable loading screens either, but it's far from a deal-breaker.

Why did I lose 5 hours of gameplay after I saved in the Nomad?
It's a great meme but I have felt that way too. Sometimes I say, my face is tired, now from time to time when my face is actually tired.
I love MEA! I love all the characters!
My main issue is that we should be able to jump on top of the Tempest on All the planets and not just from that one spot on Eos.🤣
😂Loading screens are cinematic in Andromeda. I love them.
I still replay Andromeda and Skyrim. 2 favorite games
Now I have not played Andromeda yet, but the first thing I heard about it was that the combat was clunky.
Then you heard wrong.
I love MEA and feel it wasn't given a fair chance to be finished . It was to me a new branch for Mass Effect with new ideas .
