Kaweco is German and the w is pronounced like a V. Ka-vay-Ko. I know because I was corrected myself. I like that pen its just hard to see exactly what color it is. It almost looks black. I just told myself I wouldn’t buy another Twsbi and I did. I bought the latte or café. I can’t remember what color it was with the bronze. brand new color way.
Thank you for doing all the swatches! I just bought the Kaweco EF and a TWSBI eco in extra fine as well. Cant wait to play around with some ink colors, the ones you have a gorgeous (especially the brown ones)!
Oh these are beautiful! I have one Lamy and I love the nib, but for some reason it's just not a pen I reach for very often. I might have to look into other colores and see if that's part of it. These are all lovely. That TWSBI is beautiful and I am a fan of the TWSBI diamond 580s, but have not tried an echo. How do you like it?
TWSBIs have tools so that you can easily disassemble and completely clean them. There are video tutorials on UA-cam. TWSBIs are great to use with shimmering inks with broader or stub nibs because you can clean out the shimmer. Thanks for sharing!
great video. burnt orange is tempting! beware wood dip pens, washing them repeatedly causes the wood handle to swell, crack and fall apart. i destroyed two while swatching inks for a few hours. have a lovely day!

The unboxing was lovely, what's the model of the Kaweco First Pen?
