This moment is historical! When someone presented Lataji for the first time to Dilip Kumar in a train saying that this is Lata, she sings very well. Dilip Kumar asked, what's her name? The gentleman replied, Lata Mangeshkar. To which Dilip Kumar replied, ohh Marathi? Marathi logon se Dal bhat ( varan bhat) ki bu aati hain. Lata Mangeshkar was really upset about this. She went home and asked someone to find her someone to teach her Urdu. And one Maulana started teaching her Urdu. Lata Mangeshkar's family often mentioned about how angry Lataji would become and react accordingly. Lata Mangeshkar stood up for the challenge and here she was, taking the Lifetime achievement award from Dilipsaab himself! Hats off to her 🙏🥰
