Quick question - after applying the blank bars and you go full screen, do you experience one side normal and the other side (bottom) cropped up a bit? It's weird but when I am in normal view, no issues at all but the moment I go full screen inside davinci timeline, bottom side is cropped up (i.e. black bar there is bigger which crops into your footage) but the top bit is fine :(

An easy way to do it is add an adjustment clip and then crop top and bottom.

For a more filmic widescreen. If you upload 16:9 with black bar on youtube you can still add end screens with buttons to other videos. But of you upload 21:9 widescreen you loose those end screen buttons feature as it does not work on that aspect ratio.

@@chungdha oh that is just stupid, but I would still upload 21:9 and just paste some video links in desc or something

@@efegulboy there are benefit of people to keep watching your other videos next, as youtube phone app would extra end screen from their own to any random video and not to your channel, its one way gain more views overal on your own channel keep people watching it as clicking description is a hassle for many people not even read that text or check any links other than if they wanted to buy something they saw in the video.

Why doesn't it show you the black bar size in real time? You have to guess the numbers to the bars without knowing how it actually looks
