I have the hpm1000, I use them for music and gaming. They sound great
The price is amazing for what you get. They are dated but true to the awesome right?
Just bought this awesomely cheap budget headphone and been using it for almost a week. For people out there who have a low budget on finding a good studio headphone, I totally recommend this model. I can say it's comfortable for your own use, but for my experience, I feel a little weird or a little loose on my left pads of the headphone because I've been using a over-eared headphone for a long time. Gotta get use to it, I'mma say. So yeah, for a recording and mixing stuff, or a studio using, this is overall a great headphone for its price.
For super cheap outdated little light-weight headphones they get the job done!

@@clarafranco9398 Hola Clara sii, está bueno para dj principiantes pero no es recomendable para hacer producciones de sonido como por ejemplo Ecualización, masterización, y otros procesos que se necesite para una mezcla de audio. Para esto se necesitan auriculares de frecuencias Planas que capten todo el rango, de lo contrario de vuelve imposible hacer una mezcla prolija. Pero como para empezar solo se necesitan ganas y más adelante podés acceder a uno de mejor calidad, los behringer son recomendables, tiene una óptima calidad de sonido para escuchar música y audio (aunque no sea lo más recomendable para edición, si lo es para escuchar)
Guess I have my new pair for backup with my Sony Mdr10rbt!
I checked in to the MDR10RBT's those are pricey music listening ones. Are they good? I've heard Sony is hit or miss but I've actually never owned Sony headphones or speakers.
@@EightSixMatt had them for about 4 years now and they're excellent! I used them for producing and mixing! Nice sound, great bass, Super comfortable, light! Can wear them for hours and no fatigue or neck stress! Got a good deal on them (150 cad). Worth every penny but I do not want to use them for gaming! Was looking for a decent and budget for gaming! Found these on Amazon for 20$ and was wondering if it's possible!

Also you should try the Koss ktx pro headphones, they sound really good and only cost around $20

They aren't the most high for sure, but if you have a 3.5, they will indeed work. They are just a very cost effective option for not wanting to spend much. I still use them from time to time to test things.

is it good for audio mixing?
I don't do any heavy duty mixing but I have 3 pairs of these now and I have noticed some breaking on the higher levels in only 1 of them. I use some AT M20X's for a separate gig and find those a little more 'go to' for sampling. amzn.to/2QqUoQ2
They aren't 9-12 bucks cheap, but they are probably more realistic in offering a solid sound stage for musicians (for the lower range budget).

Assuming you are using a separate mic it creates a nice sound stage. The target market for it is not gaming though. something with virtual 7.1 and software built in is probably more up your alley if you are looking to hear directional sounds with more depth.
