Well, just because one cartoon (or two) starring Mickey Mouse becomes public domain, it doesn't mean EVERYTHING Mickey Mouse related suddenly becomes public domain. Mickey Mouse is still owned by Disney.
Not gonna lie, that whole sequence with the moving hallway, with the camera behind mickey's back as he advances through the stone hallway and then falls down the stairs? I was too impressed by it to even notice the joke. That's some good scaling shit right there that's really easy to fuck up, and really hard to animate. Good job, early-30's Disney.

Darkblade12 most animations were done frame by frame in house and the workers were actually treated like humans. Also, these animations were not on a yearly schedule for multiple episodes.
Darkblade12 - Animation back then was done for theatrical release, where they had lots of money and time to do a great job. 2D animation now lives almost exclusively on TV, where budget and time constraints severely limit what you can do.

Chris is trying to work up the courage to propose, but the evil combination of Pete (voiced by Ron Perlman) and a cat voiced by Peter Dinklage will convince him not to. They will have wacky antics with Helena Bonham Carter and Sasha Baron Cohen and we'll have Goofy will learn to rap, and Goofy will rap battle Cat Dinklage into submission. The whole gang learns the value of love and commitment, Pine proposes and Emma says yes, and true love's kiss between Mickey and Minnie open a portal back to Ancient Paris.
