With regards to pro tour, we need events that bring the masses together, and where the pros inspire the amateurs to be better and where the average Joe gets motivated to be their best. Where a race within a race can take place, where no 525 wants to beat no 524. And create events that get mass public recognition, thru main stream and non-mainstream media. We need outside interest in our sport to attract sponsors and funding. Would be great to have a Samsung, Qatar Airways or KIA to be a title sponsor of a SUP event one day, an event that has the kind of ring to it such as Tour de France, or the very recent iconic Unbound Gravel Race
The marathon type races seems logical. If promoters want the fastest paddlers they can attract them with prize money
Exactly and then have like 5 of them throughout the year and a final for a season finale. How hard can it be…?

Thank you Paco fully agree. More races like Lake Rocks and maybe find an enthusiastic company with money who likes to support.
I think that the future of SUP will be tech and sprints races.
Thanks for the comment. I think Tech. and Sprint Races are heavily underrated right now. I hope to see more Tech. and Sprints in the future myself.
