Hey Barbara, I recommended 'The Discovery of Slowness' to you and I'm glad you finished it. Looks like you've experienced the same change as I did when reading it. Excellent!
My father is Russian, my mother is Italian and I am an American, and I am study the Russian language now. I used to watch your channel in Russian and was very disappointed when you cancel it for your own reason. I was miss leaded myself too about all of it, and I wish you to continue that channel again, its helps me to find my own identity and better understand my inheritage and the secret of the Russian soul. I wish to learn several languages even though I am more interested in Russian and Italian. I love your channel and the more I watch it, the more I got interested in reading books and the history of our nation. Keep up the good job
A collection of horror short stories I'm reading right now and enjoying is No one will come back for us : and other stories by Mohamed, Premee. Kind of Lovecraft inspired but more modern.
I would recommend “Only one left” by Riley Sager, I loved the vibe of the book, it’s set in mansion in Maine and had some turns, that’s all I am gonna say😌
Love your book reviews! I really admire your passion for horror and I wonder if you have a lot of nightmares? LOL. Books have trigger warnings? Really? You mentioned that and I was wondering if it were actually a thing? I'm really into audiobooks because its less stressful on my eyes and have a passion for colonial U.S. History. I love to imaging living through the struggles of the 1700's. Keep up the book reviews!
I only get nightmares if I eat a big meal and then fall asleep on my back, lol. Books can have trigger warnings. I don't ever seek out trigger warnings, but that particular book had a stressful topic, so wanted to mention in case anyone is sensitive to it. Thanks for watching!

I am not a fan of horror books or movies, however I’m impressed with your interest in reading this genre.

i liked Asiimov's Foundation Trilogy, it's always the first thing i recommend :)
I was thinking of watching the TV show. How does it compare?
I've heard really good things about this!
Tender is the flesh really stuck with me! Especially every time I'd eat meat for a few weeks after....
Ha, same...
You look beautiful) I am glad to see you.
You're a good book critic! You should try writing something sometime
Thank you! And I would love to try my hand at writing :) Someday!
Are you familiar with Matt Ruff's work?
I just looked and I think you recommended this before, because one of the books is on my list--Fool on the Hill! Definitely plan to read that
Ты все такая же красотка) ❤
Спасибо)
I see Rebecca on your book shelf. Did you read it yet? Greetings from Germany
Not yet, but I think I'll get to it soon! Thanks for your comment. Greetings from the US!
