Just lost my oppo case. After watching, I just bought another pair. Originally my A/B test on Gojira, The trails closed the deal on them. They are joining my Sennheiser HD 600s in my audio hall of fame. For some perspective, my first pair of HD 600s lasted 25 years and was going strong before I lost them in a move. They outlived 2 headphone amps. We've come along way though. My $200 ifi Zen Dac now sounds as good as my old $699 Burson HD160 amp. Great video!

I have been experiencing connection dropouts a lot when using LDAC, so I have to switch to the stable connection mode and when not using LDAC to. Overall, I love them, but I want to try the Jabra Elite 10 mainly because of its comfort, waterproofing, and sweat resistance. You can connect up to more than two devices at the same time. According to Amazon reviews, the sound quality is amazing to and you have spatial audio, which can be used on any music stream services. Does anybody own the Jabra Elite 10 or then Technics AZ80, or maybe can recommend better earbuds in the same price bracket even though there are no better earbuds than the WF1000XM5 in this price range. Thank you
I always try to do detailed research before purchasing anything and when I bought the Elite 10 i have been in contact with Jabra a lot and one customer service agent told me and I quote, " The Semi-open design is intended to help with things like the occlusion affect (where we can hear our footfalls through the earbuds) and other similar challenges. We expect that it should have no effect on the ANC or Heartrhough mode as this was also used with the Jabra Elite 85t without challenge". The recent update with the wind reduction feature is very effective and helps the ANC a lot. @OoSysteM0fADownoO

There's somethin in this. When you have an offer to review a product for a company and they inviting you with business class ticket or simply giving you something for free, a reviewer at that point is not objective anymore. BTW the very best for you guys, have a nice day
Another great video guys. Thanks! Last year, I bought Edifier Stax Spirit S3 thanks to your review and I am very happy with it. One question: Like Edifier Stax Spirit, do you have any earbuds suggestion that I mainly pay for the sound quality? I really do not care about ANC, transparency, calls, etc. but I do not have 500 euros for high-end ones. Any suggestions? PS: Mostly listening to progressive rock/metal and jazz fusion.
As an Enco X2 owner who has spent many an hour wearing them I would largely agree with the pick. However, is it just me or can they sometimes sound really metallic? I've done several (or more) Golden Sound tests but basically to try and fake my way to better highs to make them less metallic and sibilant but hasn't really worked. So is it just me?
Love Love your channel and feel you guys are about as honest as it gets and love the humor too. As to this review I ended up with the Jabra Elite 10's. I do really like them but I was really more looking for the BEST overall sounding buds. Like without needing a lot of EQ etc..And saying that I mean for home use only...in a quiet room..not running, biking, anything. Just for MUSIC vs using my loud studio monitors.. In that case as many have mentioned would you give the nod to the b&0 ex? Or if you've tried the Denon Perl Pros..which are prob just mostly the same as what was NuraTrue pros? In other words, or Master Dynamics...I dunno...other than COMFORT Which IS important..otherwise you won' use the buds very long...All that matters to me is the BEST sound. ANC/Transparency is all good...but in a quiet room...lol away from the wife, can you recommend what you may feel are THE best SOUNDING buds or at least near the best SOUND only... again without bells/whistles? I'd rather not buy and return..also that's not so fair to the vendors...even an Amazon...too many returns..poor guys LOL. Thx Shaun.
To be honest if youre gonna use them at home and want the best sound quality you should go or wired iems, a 50 dollars pair is often better than 350 dollars tws…
@@Mep001 Good point. However if you are still going to use a phone as the source? wired can still be a pain..and you'd need a dongle as almost no phones have headphone jacks these days. I was a Tidal user but switched to Spotify. Their audio still tops out at just 320kbs., pretty crappy but OK, .so I think wired is not going to make a huge difference sound wise...unless you are streaming high rez maybe. Anyway good point as to cost though, you are correct on that for sure..vs the $350 plus tws earbuds. TOO much $$ vs excellent wired...spot on.
You guys are simply awesome. I love your editing and your content. I have come to terms that my ears are defective and need over the ear hooks listening apparatus. Would you mind doing the same type of review for over the ear hook buds?
Your list is very good. It weighs the pros and cons which give reasons why one earbud is higher than another. The Sennheiser Momentum 3 are good buds but the reliability, connection, or battery drain knock them down quite a bit. Thanks, guys👍
Awesome work guys and I completely agree. I would have picked the enco x2 but man the calls on freebuds pro 3... Wow. Was hoping for an enco x3 thsi year but sadly nothing.. 😢😢. Freebuds Pro 3 buds of the year in my opinion.
Liberty4NC is bassier, Liberty4 is more balanced, so it depends on what "sound quality means to you. Also worth mentioning, that HearID is more precise in Liberty4, because it calibrates for each ear separately in this model.
I'm quite surprised that sony xm5, quitecomfort 2 and Ultra, pixel buds pro did not make it to the list. Is there a specific reason? Great work as usual.
These are just our personal favorites and ones we would end up recommending at different price points. We also tried to restrict it to one per brand and in some cases we cut out (like the Bose) due to issues we've mentioned here.
"Could you please review the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro? Many reviewers have compared them to the Oppo Enco X2 in terms of sound quality, suggesting there's only a 10% to 20% difference. I'd love to see a comparison video from you, especially since you're an expert in sound quality. Looking forward to it!"
JBL is about sound quality, but usually really lacks volume. Soundcore has amazing sound and among best for volume, and best ex customization(incl. hearID, but better take Liberty 4 not 4nc) Don't know about earfun.
Nice Review. The EarFun Air Pro 3s also have multipoint connection. I have a pair and really enjoy them. Agree with your comments regarding sound quality. The ANC is pretty good. Even in Normal mode outside sounds are effectively reduced.. Killer pair for the price.
The only reason to buy the B&O EX is the stellar sound quality and you didn't even mention it. I'm surprised the Sony XM5 didn't make it on the list but I have to admit I won't be getting them because of the damb foam tips and I don't think Sony even sells them when they wear out.😱 You guys do a great job and you're work is very much appreciated. Thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
@@DHRMEI think it’s one of the best inventions ever made. It helps me to stay balanced in life. I’ve had trouble with that in the past. I have a demanding job, I’m a Rocket Engineer. It’s expensive but worth it.
So …… I’m taking this to mean you see the Technics as the top buds all round as - they were 4, honourable mentions were 3 and your subjective choices are 1 and 2. I have to say I agree. The Technics are incredible.
1more evo are on discount on Amazon, the lowest price since I am watching it. What would you guys say: 1more evo (honorable mention) or xm5 (no mention?)? Of course different price categories, but you only have two ears…
I decided to buy jabra elite 7 pro, and i m loving it, bassy sound, 8 hrs battery, stemless, and small size, durable form, and call quality is also very nice. I m satisfied.
'Kevin's Pi(c)k...' 😂😂😂 That was no accident. Thank you guys for leading me again to a new set of earbuds! Trouwens een mooie omgeving waar je woont! Groetjes uit Maarssen :)
hi 🙏 do you know any bt earbuds app that can set the sound Decibel Output flat to a specific value (say 70db). the app is not about controlling the volume % but to produce a flat Decibel Output Value. say like, watching a movie, no matter if it a sound of b0mb blasting or leaves fall on the water, the flat Decibel Output to the earbud, still the same flat 70db. tq in adv 🙏
Great review guys! For a person whom calls and watching content is very important, a tier above music consumption, which buds would you suggest between the Oppo enco x2 and the oneplus buds pro 2. I do know the oppo is much better sounding with its golden sound than the golden sound of the op but I have watched a lot of reviews which say that the microphone quality, call quality and battery life on the enco is not that good which it is on the Oneplus ones. Could you just give me some clarity on this as to which one to go with for being a person who takes a lot of calls and also listens to a fair amount of music on the go while travelling, really would love your input.
I've owned both for a short period, they both largely sound the same. I couldn't answer your question about which would be better given your circumstances (taking lots of calls as this is something I don't really do). Travelling I've done in them, worked so well on the plane and train. They have a quick charge too if you're in a bind. I've tried a lot of TWS since and they've always been sent back. The only ones that came close were the Nuratrue Pro (Denon Perl Pro now). They sounded better but are just too big for my ears (and for the outside world IMO).
Love your reviews, fun and informative. And they're independent whereas some reviewers seem reticent about saying negetive things about some earbuds. My daily workhorse is apple airpods pro 2 (I'm using apple, android and Windows devices. I forget I'm wearing the Airpods pro 2, they're excellent all rounders and the only earbuds I've had which screen out the sharp screeching on the London underground Jubilee line). I had the link bud S in the past and loved those. And liked the Earfun pro 3 as a cheaper workhorse (helped my eq'ing). I decided to go for the Status Between ANC, a brand I hadn't heard of until recently. I've had these for a few days and absolutely loving them. Easily the best wireless earbuds I've ever had for audio quality, ever (and I've had quite a few). Really shows how little codecs matter in comparison to hardware and tuning. I'm finding these a very good fit and very comfortable for me. The long battery life is a big plus. It's great for using more than one device as well. I'm not using these in situations where ANC and transparency are that important but they seem decent for those as well. And it's great having something that doesn't look like yet another apple earpod design or a button in your ear!
@@DHRME I've been using the Status Between ANC for a few days now and they are superb. The audio quality and comfort, I forget I'm wearing them. One huge surprise was the difference it makes with listening directly to music, audible titles, podcasts stored on my apple watch. I'd accepted that my LG v60 to earbuds (with aptx adaptive and LDAC), or using an iPhone would sound better than listening to music directly from my apple watch. The difference though with the Status Between ANC used with the apple watch is amazing. I found myself dancing to a piece of music that's on my watch (using Apple music which sounds much better than Spotify especially on my android devices). Then absorbed listening to the intricacy of a haunting piano piece by Saint Saens (classical) from my apple watch. Then some Lana Del Rey. I'd half been thinking about a more basic fitness tracker when my apple watch 6 finally gives out (I use it alongside my android phone). But the ability to enjoy music , audio books, podcasts more deeply with these Status Between ANC has got me rethinking that (plus I use the voice commands a lot with the apple watch, especially at home and nfc payments when out and about and it's integrated into Microsoft To-do). And just to add, it's an absolute myth that Apple Airpods are only good for a total Apple ecosystem. I use them with apple, android and Windows. The touch controls work brilliantly with whatever device they're paired to (so I don't loose out on stem stroking, gentle squeezing to change ANC/transparency, as well as the advantages of the Airpods pro 2 ANC, transparency etc). Spatial audio I'm not that fussed about. I also use airpods paired to an ipad which gives me firmware updates.
Thank you very much for your great and sympathetic work. You're really helping people who are interested in this kind of thing. In the telephone tests, I would think it would be good to hear three or four spoken sentences in a normal room (for example, if you are talking on the phone at home). Other than that, there's absolutely nothing I can do 😊
Hi guys, good video as always. I need to buy a pair of earbuds for 60/70€. What do you suggest between Samsung Galaxy Buds2 (70€), Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (63€) and Earfun Air Pro 3 (68€)? I have a samsung phone btw. Thanks!
Oppo Enco X2 is my daily driver for the past 1.5yrs and I also own many DAC's, audiophile earphones and of course the many airpods. I've still not heard anything as selfless and as awesome as the X2. No wonder, there's no X3. X2 is that good!
hi , is it worth buying enco x2 now as it is almost 2 years old. or shall i go for one plus buds pro 2 or song link buds s or any other alternatives at that price range
@@drmanojprabhakar4325 Liberty 4NC is half the price of Ear Fun Air 3 Pro and sounds twice better. Only if you like bass that's over and above everything else that's playing, I would recommend EF3P.
Nice round up (I have 5 on the list including #1 plus one on the honorable mentioned and of course several more not mentioned) and with the understanding rankings are subjective I still have ONE major push back with the Momentum 3s being that far back on you list. They sound better, have better ANC, better battery life and better transparency than almost everything on the list. I find many buds have issues when no longer in rotation particularly with battery/charging. I have Soundcores that won't charge past 80%, B&Os that charge when they feel like, last gen Sony's were known for similar issues. Comes with the territory of small lithium batteries. Not meant to last forever.
I tested dozens of tws earbuds, and I wasn't really totally satisfied by any model But the jabra elite 10 came out and delivered for me like never before No set of earbuds was able to give me more than 3 of my 5 fundamental criterias Full customization of the commands (I prefer one tap to skip tracks) IPX7 minimum (I run 200 miles a month and sweat a lot) Physical buttons (very important, no accidental touches) Multipoint Loud sound with a lot of bass With this model, Jabra was finally able to give me everything I expected, and even more I wasn't a big ANC fan because my previous models was trash tier, but now I really enjoy this feature (and the hearthrough mode too) I don't understand why these brands go for capacitive panels on their high end models It's so inconvenient when physical buttons are gloves proof, wet hands proof, real life proof !!! S/o to Jabra for this choice
You don't stay connected to multiple devices, but if you've previously paired with a phone, for example. You can select the earbuds from the bluetooth menu. Don't need to go into pairing mode.
B&O being 14th is criminal I understand that the price is higher than everything else and doesn’t have the best ANC but the sound quality is the best on the market. Should be top 3 at least!
M&D mw09, the new creative AurvanaAce 2 earbuds using xmems instead of drivers or diaphragms...finally Devial5 Gemini II. Great job guys. As always. Also could you guys go over for some the difference between the built-in equalizer that an earbud manufacturer gives you in their app versus say title, Amazon music, your own power amp. It would be nice to get a little better understanding seeing as people think oh it doesn't come with an EQ on the companion app you really don't need that

So which one is the winner for calls?
Number 4
What about the Jabra Elite 8 Active? You haven't tried them, or they just don't make the top 15 or honorable mentions? Thanks
We've done a video on it. :)
Your buds might be faulty since mine are not
@@mineryt775they definitely aren't faulty 😂 it's more to do with the driver (planar)
Thank you for making top notch content. Yall hilarious
Just compare about sound quality Oppo enco x2 with Liberty 4NC. Which one is better?
Please review realme buds air 5 pro. I heard that it's excellent for the buck overall
Hi, earfun air pro 3 better sounding than the free pro 3?
You guys are simply awesome. I love your editing and your content. I have come to terms that my ears are defective and need over the ear hooks listening apparatus. Would you mind doing the same type of review for over the ear hook buds?

Great video, and I don’t have an issues with my Sennheiser 3 earbuds.
You’re making me jealous holding your flips and folds in the camera all the time.
Your list is very good. It weighs the pros and cons which give reasons why one earbud is higher than another. The Sennheiser Momentum 3 are good buds but the reliability, connection, or battery drain knock them down quite a bit. Thanks, guys👍
You guys should review Fiil earbuds also
Thanks
Thank you Andrew!
Awesome work guys and I completely agree. I would have picked the enco x2 but man the calls on freebuds pro 3... Wow.
Was hoping for an enco x3 thsi year but sadly nothing..
😢😢. Freebuds Pro 3 buds of the year in my opinion.
Wonder if the Jabra Elite 8 Active is overall comparable to Jabra Elite 10.
We made a video on that!
So are the Liberty 4s better than the Liberty 4 NCs? Mainly talking sound quality
We also tried to restrict it to one per brand and in some cases we cut out (like the Bose) due to issues we've mentioned here.
which one is the best call quality under noisy environment (for android user)?
A great list 😊
For apple Lose 😂😂😂 At this point I just keep watching your videos for the entertainment value you guys provide. Keep going 🔥🔥
Looking forward to it!"
can anyone tell which between liberty 4NC - JBL live pro2 - earfun air pro 3 has the best sound quality
Thank you. 💯👍🇺🇸
Did we not mention the sound? Oops. I guess it seems so obvious to us, that we almost didn't catch that. Thanks!
@@DHRME Yeah I guess you're right for 400.00$ they'd have to sound good. 💯🇺🇸

hi 🙏 do you know any bt earbuds app that can set the sound Decibel Output flat to a specific value (say 70db).
the app is not about controlling the volume % but to produce a flat Decibel Output Value.
say like,
watching a movie,
no matter if it a sound of b0mb blasting or leaves fall on the water, the flat Decibel Output to the earbud, still the same flat 70db. tq in adv 🙏
When are you gonna review the Soundpeats air 4 pro?
Of those which can be submerged- is it possible to listen to the music via BT underwater??? ;)
For calls the best is huawey freebuds, even the first version is better than 90% of the tws
@@Mep001 can't buy huawei products in india
Agree - the Status are great!
@@DHRME I've been using the Status Between ANC for a few days now and they are superb. The audio quality and comfort,
I forget I'm wearing them.
Thanks!
Really tough!
For that much I'd buy a pair of Huawei Freebuds 5i. Check some videos out, they are really great with similar features than the Freebuds Pro.
I feel like the Freebuds pro 3 are too high. 4hrs battery and worse anc + transparency imo means they for sure should be down below airpods pro 2
@@illapuchandrasai9521 If it's noise cancelling you are looking at, look elsewhere. If it's sound quality, nothing compares to X2.
soundcore liberty 4NC vs ear fun air 3 pro, which is better??

True. This is a very personal list. And we love the Sennies too, but the second time made us more reticent to recommend them.
Encho X2 vs Elite 10?
I tested dozens of tws earbuds, and I wasn't really totally satisfied by any model
But the jabra elite 10 came out and delivered for me like never before
No set of earbuds was able to give me more than 3 of my 5 fundamental criterias
Full customization of the commands (I prefer one tap to skip tracks)
IPX7 minimum (I run 200 miles a month and sweat a lot)
Physical buttons (very important, no accidental touches)
Multipoint
Loud sound with a lot of bass
With this model, Jabra was finally able to give me everything I expected, and even more
I wasn't a big ANC fan because my previous models was trash tier, but now I really enjoy this feature (and the hearthrough mode too)
I don't understand why these brands go for capacitive panels on their high end models
It's so inconvenient when physical buttons are gloves proof, wet hands proof, real life proof !!!
S/o to Jabra for this choice
What exactly is pulling connection?
You don't stay connected to multiple devices, but if you've previously paired with a phone, for example. You can select the earbuds from the bluetooth menu. Don't need to go into pairing mode.
Appreciate your efforts 👏👍 helpful too..
