I'm surprised Sean didn't say "This trailer is going to make a *SPLASH* and we're gonna watch it 🌊
Didn't have time to come up with puns! But I'll save that for the review 😆
You know what, I’m pleasantly surprised by how much this trailer restored my excitement for this film!
Initially I had zero hype for it after hearing so much had been cut and reworked, but since this trailer, it has given me hope that it might actually be good?
Aquaman 1 really impressed me to be honest, visually it was gorgeous and the shots were often extremely well composed and choreographed.
There was less reliance of editing and more reliance on scale, sets and holding on the action.
It was a film I had zero hype for but it genuinely surprised me!
Easily one of the better DCEU films!
Same. I actually look forward to it now too. Not as much as The Boy and The Heron or Killer of The Flower Moon, but I’m looking forward to it 👍
Funny how Patrick Wilson's character looks like the comic original aquaman
Only DCEU I am watching in theatres this year.
So dumb
If this isn't continuing the story for DCU
Then what's the point? 🧐
@@JuanRodriguez-tf7fhIt's a movie. If it's good, it gets another sequel. Focusing on what other movies did is pointless.
Willem Dafoe realizing he's not in this movie:
"Out, am I?!"
I feel its going to be a solid film, very fun and epic on its own. Im only worried about the CGI
this actually looked lowky fire wtf
It's honestly not bad looking. Let's not give too much hate to James and Jason.
The actor for Black Manta would be amazing as Tchalla
100% going to see it , perfect christmas movie.
It's gonna be fun to watch Warner Bros. go up against themselves this Christmas with 'Wonka', 'Aquaman 2', and 'The Color Purple'.
Glad more people are giving this movie a chance after how good this trailer was. This is gonna be the Avatar The Way of Water of DC!
As much as I liked the first one and I am now genuinely excited for this one, I don’t think it’s going to be as good as Avatar…
Can't wait to see George Clooney as Batman teaming up with Jason Momoa as Aquaman, helping to take down Black Manta, also can't wait for the post-credits scene that will introduce David Corenswet as Superman and the set up this film will bring for Superman Legacy & The Brave and the Bold!
The octopus better get more screen time. I want a full drum solo!
I thought the first aqua man was underrated and this one looks fun
This is giving me some Thor vibes with Aquaman’s brother being a Loki type character
Aquaman is my favorite dceu movie, so I'm very excited for this. The trailer looked really good. It's sad to see this version of dc go, but I'm excited for what's to come.
A slight side track but still in the realm of DC; could you consider creating a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
This looks amazing and I can’t wait for this movie!! Love your reactions by the way and nice trailer reaction 😊
I don’t care that the DCEU is ending this movie looks awesome and I will definitely go to see it
Looks pretty fun and Momoa is so good as Aquaman. Excited and hope for a nice final film for The DCEU.
I don't care that Amber Heard is in this. I care ONLY that the movie is good. That's it.
This is the final DCEU/Snyderverse movie. I truly hope that it goes out with a bang in this franchise.
Congratulations to James Wan and Jason Momoa for what they've done with this part of the franchise.
Snyderverse pretty much ended with ZSJL. Consistency for any movies outside of his movies and WW (1) didn't make any attempt to expand the universe. In tone, this along with the Flash honestly are just extensions of the Josstice League.
I was worried but now excited
I forgot this movie even existed lowkey 😂
I really enjoyed the trailer and I loved the action in the first movie!
I loved the first Aquarman movie im excited for the sequel in December.
I hope it can be an epic final to the decu era, i have high hopes
You have a good point.
I honestly think that looks like a lot of fun. I enjoyed the first one and am actually excited for this one.
Even though this marks the end of the DCEU my excitement for it still stands, because I really enjoyed the first Aquaman when I first saw it. The trailer to me looks like this one may be better than the first on the visual side, but I still can't wait to see what they do with Black Manta in this movie. Still one of my most anticipated for the year.
I really liked the first Aquaman, and I am excited for Aquaman 2
I can't belive its been 5 years since the first and i legitimately forgot blue beetle came out until you mentioned it
What I'm hearing is movie to watch for Mom's birthday.
I don't know man, I just don't know. I like the first one a lot, but rumors about it got me a little worried.
I dont beleive anything with rumors until I see it for myself. Until there is actually cofn8rmatuon then cool.
I enjoyed the first one enough and this trailer for this sequel has some of the same vibes I like from the first, but to be brutally honest my expectation is really low for this movie.
First one made a lot of money! Unfortunately, just another empty, "fun", 1&done that's proliferating the industry now. Typical MCU fluff.
I really enjoy the firsf Aquaman. I wasn't really excited for this one but I'm probably going to check it out based on reviews
This looks great and more Nicole Kidman and less Amber Heard, works for me. I prefer Arthur in his green & gold suit over the Batman looking one cause you know we already have Batman.
Hey Sean, this is off topic but it would be pretty cool to see a video of your favorite actors!
I-am-HOOKED
I find Aquaman to be the most entertaining DC movie so I am hoping that the sequel lives up to the original
I really liked the 1st Aquaman. Big and cheesy in all the good ways. This trailer is really good and has me excited to see the sequel.
I am intrigue on how this movie is going to turn out in the box office and I am hoping this movie turns out amazing but we shall see how this turns out at least in my opinion. :)
I doubt it’ll be great but that trailer was pretty epic! Definitely more excited now than I was.
Tbh, I can’t wait to see it!
Am I the only one that noticed the LOTR vibes? This movie looks awesome!!!
The only vibe i get from it is Ant man and the wasp quantumania the trailer looks cool the movie probably not

1. Back to the Future Part II (1989)
2. Back to the Future (1985)
3. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
4. Let It Ride (1989)
5. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988)
6. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
7. The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
8. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
9. History Of The World Part I (1981)
10. Revenge of the Nerds (1984)
Tough that The Goonies (1985) didn't make the cut. Neither did Return of the Jedi (1983), Glory (1989), and Top Gun (1986). I've never been a fan of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). I agree with James Gunn that Batman (1989) isn't a great film. I saw it when I was 8.5 in the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. I love the character but never that film. I absolutely adore Troop Beverly Hills (1989) but unfortunately didn't make the cut.
1990s
1. Maverick (1994)
2. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
3. Casino (1995)
4. Goodfellas (1990)
5. The Big Lebowski (1998)
6. Pulp Fiction (1994)
7. Kingpin (1996)
8. Dumb and Dumber (1994)
9. There's Something About Mary (1998)
10. Dazed and Confused (1993)
The Lion King (1994), Braveheart (1995), Chaplin (1992), Far and Away (1992), Jurassic Park (1993), Home Alone (1990), Pretty Woman (1990), Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997), The Sandlot (1993), True Romance (1993), White Men Can't Jump (1992), and American Pie (1999) didn't make the cut but all deserve an honorable mention. I've seen those 10 other films more. I grew to not care about The Matrix (1999) after the sequels.
2000s
1. Wild Hogs (2007)
2. Revenge of the Sith (2005)
3. Fanboys (2009)
4. Couples Retreat (2009)
5. Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008)
6. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
7. The Forbidden Kingdom (2008)
8. Shallow Hal (2001)
9. Gladiator (2000)
10. Troy (2004)
Honorably mentions -
Snatch (2000)
Shanghai Noon (2000)
Rush Hour 2 (2001)
Hero (2002)
Minority Report (2002)
Munich (2005)
The Emperor's New Groove (2000)
Inglourious Basterds (2009)
The Dark Knight (2008)
The Prestige (2006)
Memento (2000)
Donnie Darko (2001)
The Fall (2006)
Wild Hogs? F*ck yeah, Wild Hogs. I've seen that movie the most from that decade. It actually makes a nice hangout film. I'm aware how bad the reviews it got. But I enjoyed the male bonding and even homosexual sex jokes coming from Disney! I think I'm going to enjoy The Bikeriders (2023) in December. Goodfellas meets The Sons of Anarchy and Easy Rider (1969).
This decade is a weird one for me to rank. Wild Hogs, Couples Retreat, Troy, Indy 4, and The Forbidden Kingdom are not well-liked. No The Dark Knight in my top 10, you ask? I like it. I never have the urge to rewatch it because Nolan doesn't make highly replayable films. The 2000s consisted more of my guilty pleasures. Not films that I believe are actually great.
I think maybe the reason why I don't love The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003) as much as Star Wars is because I don't love as many characters from it. I like Gandalf, Aragorn, and Gimli (and most dwarves), but I'm not a fan of any of the hobbits. It's the superior trilogy to SW OT, but I don't love it which is why they don't get an honorable mention.
2010s
1. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood (2019)
2. Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)
3. Jojo Rabbit (2019)
4. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
5. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
6. Easy A (2010)
7. She's Out of My League (2010)
8. Django Unchained (2012)
9. The Hateful Eight (2015)
10. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Honorable mentions -
The Avengers (2012)
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Good Boys (2019)
Rogue One (2016)
This Is The End (2013)
The Heat (2013)
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
2020s
1. Elvis (2022)
2. Air (2023)
3. Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
4. 8-Bit Christmas (2021)
5. BlackBerry (2023)
6. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
7. Cruella (2021)
8. The Batman (2022)
9. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
10. Oppenheimer (2023)
I'm still contemplating between Elvis vs. Air as my #1? I was never an Elvis fan before. I know the film was really Elvis concerts stitched together. But I absolutely adored it. Saw it 23x in the theater. Top Gun: Maverick is a better film than Elvis and Air but I can replay the other two because I enjoy the music in them.
Perhaps as time goes on, Air will surpass Elvis as my favorite film of this decade being I'm a much bigger fan of Michael Jordan and Nike than I am for Elvis Presley. And Air is a more hopeful film (great Mother's Day film) while Elvis ends bittersweet since Elvis was addicted to drugs that eventually killed him.
Oppenheimer is arguably the best film of the decade, but it doesn't mean it's my favorite. I can see Oppenheimer move up once it's available to download. Higher than The Batman. But I doubt I want to replay a 3-hour film like that. I saw The Batman 3x in the theater but it's too slow and dark to be able to keep rewatching.
Since I haven't seen tons of movies prior to 1980, I'll pick one favorite from the 1920s-1970s and then rank each champion from each decade at the end. I don't remember seeing a film in the 1910s. Never seen The Birth of a Nation (1915), the most racist film ever. Oldest film I've seen might be The Kid (1921) with Charlie Chaplin followed by The Gold Rush (1925).
1920s: The Kid (1921)
1930s: A Night at the Opera (1935)
1940s: Casablanca (1942)
1950s: Some Like It Hot (1959)
1960s: The Graduate (1967)
1970s: The Godfather (1972)
I believe The Godfather Part II is the superior film than the first one. But I'm ranking my favorite. I've asked this towards my relatives. Between Part 1 vs. 2, they always said they prefer Part 1 because of Brando. As great as De Niro was as a young Vito, the older Vito had more charisma. Tough not to pick Star Wars (1977) but the 70s is the one time I'm picking the best film while it's also my favorite.
Now to rank each decade champ -
1. Maverick (1990s)
2. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood (2010s)
3. Back to the Future Part II (1980s)
4. Elvis (2020s)
5. Some Like It Hot (1950s)
6. The Godfather (1970s)
7. Wild Hogs (2000s)
8. Casablanca (1940s)
9. The Graduate (1960s)
10. A Night at the Opera (1930s)
11. The Kid (1920s)
My Favorite Decades For Films?
1990s
1980s
2000s
2010s
2020s
1970s (arguably the GOAT for films)
1950s
1960s
1940s
1930s
1920s
The 1980s is actually regarded one of the worst decades in film history since the 1950s. But so many IPs from it. And so many fun movies from it. I know people are whining how movies in this decade sucks. But it's only 2023. I think it has potential to be a better decade than the 2000s and 2010s. The 2010s was dominated by superhero films especially from MCU.
The 1980s and 1990s will always be dear to my heart. Those decades were my formative years, so we tend to be biased towards the films we grew up on. It's easier for us to be impressed when we were younger. If I was born in the 1950s or 1960, I might say 1970s. But being born in 1980, it has to be 80s and 90s as my favs just like the music I listen to.
The badass decade for me was the late-1960s (1966-1967 / hippie era) through 1979. Everyone was getting laid! 🤣 I might be biased towards the 90s but compared to the 60s, 70s, and 80s in terms of having a good time, getting high, and fashion, the 90s was boring in comparison. And the decades that followed are way more boring.
Maverick (1994): My favorite movie of all-time surpassing previous champions in The Shawshank Redemption (1994) and Back to the Future Part II (1989). But I think 1989 was a more fun year for films especially for comedy than in 1994.
Back to the Future Part II
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Let it Ride
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Glory
Troop Beverly Hills
Batman
When Harry Met Sally...
Major League
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
The Little Mermaid
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Uncle Buck
Harlem Nights
The 'Burbs
Ghostbusters II
The Karate Kid Part III
Parenthood
Look Who's Talking
Say Anything...
The War of the Roses
Teen Witch
UHF
The Little Monsters
Road House
Loverboy
Weekend at Bernie's
It was great being 8 or 9 in 1989.
I'm looking forward more to The Bikeriders than another DC film in December nobody is going to watch if they didn't for The Flash. But it's hard to predict these days. Maybe Aquaman 2 does make money that Shazam 2 and The Flash couldn't? I could care less. I'm still not seeing it.
The Bikeriders might be the Goodfellas of this decade. Might upset Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon at the Oscars for Best Picture. Tom Hardy and Austin Butler are incredible talents. Jodie Comer sounding like Lorraine Bracco in Goodfellas.
Austin Butler is the next Leo. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood to Elvis to The Bikeriders. He'll eventually work exclusively for Scorsese if Marty has another 10 years in him to make movies. I could also see Austin work with Nolan. Damn shame he didn't win the Best Actor Oscar for Elvis.
I still enjoy watching the first movie and the sequel looks like it could be better. Plus I'm a massive DC fan.
I would’ve been PUMPED for this movie 2 years ago lol
I’m not going to lie
This looks worse than I was expecting I mean the villain sounds so cartoonishly evil in this trailer😂
These movies are just thor, but good. The first movie you have a long hair muscular man finding a weapon and falling in love along the way, before returning to his kindgdom and defeating his brother. The the 2nd movie is him and his brother teaming up to defeat a new threat using an old weapon from thousands of years past
This seems like if fast and furious was a superhero movie
Hopefully there will be more scenes with Mera than the trailer suggests
I'm excited over the hate-love brotherly relationship between Arthur and Orm (it's gonna be like Thor and Loki)
I really enjoyed Aquaman and this year the only super hero movie I’ve gone to see in theaters is Across the Spider-verse. I might actually go see this one.
I don't love Aquaman but I do like it and this trailer made me more excited for this movie also are you going to see dumb money
this actually looks really cool
I’ve liked most DC things recently, even Black Adam, and I’m sad that most people aren’t giving them a chance compared to Marvel Phase 4, which was overall worse, imo.
Still, I haven’t had much excitement for this movie, and I was pleasantly surprised. If a trailer is supposed to excite me more, then it worked.
Hopefully the DCEU goes out with a bang and not a whimper
Wow I'm actually excited to see this movie now! lol
I can sense this is a better and more epic action film than the first movie but I think I need to watch a second trailer to hype me up in watching this in theaters. So far Dune Part 2 is still my most anticipated.
This looks like it’s gonna be a blast in theatres I don’t care!! 😂
It was a great trailer and I didn't care for the first Aquaman and I think it'll get close if not surpass expectations
can u review Jailer Kaithi and Vikram and make a Leo Vs Salaar which one is better review when they come out pls I'm a fan sean
The overexagarated reactions and head movements always get me 😂
The first Aquaman movie is good and the trailer of this one is good, but I feel like I will never see this one
The villain's going after his family. And this time, this time it's personal.
I forgot that there were anymore comic book movies coming out this year😂
So this is where the budget of the flash went.
I liked the first one and the new trailer is good. I’ll go out to see it… at least as long as the initial reviews are positive 😂 Makes me wish we got a Man of Steel 2 and a better Wonder Woman sequel.
I had fun with the first movie! It’s overrated, but it was awesome !!!
This is going to be amazing. I don’t care about Amber Turd or any political crap the mf’s gonna bring up, the first was a blast and the second’s gonna last
If they couldn't get michael Keaton or ben Affleck the gal gadot is an easy enough cameo to smooth people over
I do think this film will do better than shazam 2, and the Flash and Blue beetle jason momoa is a very charismatic guy and likeable in the roles he is given 👍 so i dont think it will be anything crazy
I think they want people thinking about Aquaman. Not come for another movie and be surprised by an Aquaman trailer. I agree with you though, Sean. Use each movie to support the other one.
I disagree on one key opinion. You state the time between releases may affect it. Remember, with some franchises, especially high grossing films, time helps them, just look at Avatar as of late. 👀
The gap did not affect Avatar because it was a James Cameron film that had been marketed since the first film released. This film was forgotten by most people and it will be lucky to make $300 million worldwide.
I will see the movie but I'm not holding my breath.
Looks cool but it's really hard to care
I honestly think the delay is due to the fact that they were still deciding whether or not to lock this in the vault and make the whole film a write-off 🤷♂
This is kinda giving me thor : ragnorok vibes
I'm a little concerned that there is no new villain, and we already saw quite a bit of Manta in the last film.
I apologize that this has nothing to do with the content. But, does anyone know why Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey and The Mean One have yet to be released onto physical media?
Was one of those friends from test screenings the same one who said Little Mermaid will make 1B $?
I'm watching this for black manta, he is truly evil
I don't care anymore, like you said, because all of the DCEU/DCU drama (and on the other corner, the MCU with their problems), the only superhero movie that i'm really waiting is The Batman 2.
I liked the first Aquaman movie I hope it's good but I have gotten sick of the comic book/superhero genre
I wish we could see Ben Affleck Bruce Wayne one last time. I know he was in the flash, but if this is going to be the last movie just put him in there! Just say it takes place before the flash
1: I’m going to give this movie a chance and set it opening weekend, just for the love of Jason Mamoa alone. And the guy playing Black Manta is reliable enough.
2: it’s crazy how the LAST 2 Snyder-verse DC movies have 2 of the most TOXIC off camera actors starring in them(Amber and Ezra)🤦🏽♂️
3: All I know without seeing the movie yet is, it’s very much likely going the at least be better than WonderWoman 84, the first Suicide Squad movie, Blue Beatle, BOTH Shazam movies, the Jostice league, the Flash, and better than MOST of Batman vs Superman😂
4:Man of steel, the First Wonder Woman and Snyder cut justice league and the first Aquaman are the only 4 movies in the dying DCEU, that Aquaman 2 has to compete with😂
You know, this was a pretty decent trailer. I'm not that excited for this movie, but it looks like an okay time. Jason Momoa remains a perfect choice for this absurd character and I'm excited to see Black Manta again. The first movie kinda wasted him. I'll check it out, if only to pay my respects to this incoherent cinematic universe.
This is giving black widow vibes where they fumbled the release timing
Fuck yes . AQM 1 was amazing in its own regard. The teenage Arthur was awful tho 😂
I’m not a fan of the corny jokes by my own inclination. But, I was also weaned on Adam West Batman, Super Friends, AND 😂😅blonde-haired Aquaman. I’ll enjoy it, regardless.
At this point, these trailers look like parody of modern superhero movies
I hated the first one but this won me over.
Not seeing any movie with amber heard in it
If Amber is in the movie why not show her in the trailer?! False advertising alert
Idk why it sounds like 1 billion dollar material
Plz review some Bangladeshi movies
I can't make any promises but what's a good starting point?
@@SeanChandlerTalksAboutu can watch mostafa sarwar farooki movies,he is a renowned Director of Bangladesh
Let’s be honest this movie should be a big hit due to Jason Momoa and Nichole Kidman. These two actors are big draw
If it fails it’s due to one reason Amber Hurd. WB made a mistake in taken sides in choosing Amber over Johnny Depp.
If it fails then Ambers career is over.
I think James Gunn new universe will fail.
Amber's career is already over
That's why no one's watching this garbáge
Can’t wait for the Wonder Woman cameo in this.
Hahaha
With that 5 second long theme
And saving the main character out of nowhere
There's a wonder woman cameo??
Nope
