I car camped there back in October with my lab, Emma. It was so peaceful but we arrived when it was almost dark. That drive to the spot almost had me turn around but we were rewarded with stars and the milky way. Emma took the whole back seat and I had the passenger seat, but that was great sleep. We then hiked to fort Bowie the next day. It’s so neat seeing places I’ve been on others’ adventures.
I’m afraid that you’ve created a fan club out of a dog that may not have ever gotten the attention and love if it weren’t for your motherly love. Blessed be, homie. 🙏🏽
needle nose pliers is what I end up using for those serious stickers in my sandals. Sometimes they make their way through the entire sole. That's not fun.
Needle nose pliers works good on stickers. I look forward to your videos. I watch way too many videos re: politics and our countries' fight to survive until Jan 20th. I get to slow down and learn from you. I have a builder working on my box truck conversion and anxious to go full time. I am pushing 70 and he needs to hurry and finish so I can let my kids fight over it after I die. Still trying to decide about getting a dog. I think I will wait to be sure it is not too much added work. Winston sure makes it hard to resist. 🎉 Happy New Year!!!
Honey I wouldn't be feeding the wild life. It never ends well. For the wild life. Just saying. Please stay safe out there and hugs and love to you and Sir Winston 🌻🌻🌻
I just adopted an 11 year old chihuahua, he is a blessing. Feisty, opinionated, picky, but the happiest, wiggliest, most wonderful 6 pounds of love. I lost my previous guy several months ago, and while I have a silly kitty I sooo missed my guy, feel like I can finally heal. But getting him to do anything he doesn’t want to is a nightmare.
Enjoyed the content, for 2024, traveling with Van man, I get to see the Queen of clean and Deputy WYNSTON twice a week, HAPPY New Year 2025, Amanda and Wynston safe travels ❤
What a beautiful area! Thanks for all this inspiration to get out and do what you're enjoying! How much you wanna make a bet that I could throw a football over them mountains? ✌
Amanda love all your adventures 😍 I love Arizona lived there a little bout 10 years ago always going to Williams and Grand Canyon. I just bought a refrigerator for my Jeep what Temperature do you keep your's on
I can’t find an acceptable rated 12v electric blanket on Amazon 🤔 the one you talk about from Temu sounds cool but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get it in time.
That's exactly what that warm sherpa thing is depending on make and model. You should link it incase any want to buy it. It is pretty cool uh, uh I mean warm looking.. For those who don't know about sherpa..... Fabric Sherpa is a soft, fluffy, knitted fabric that mimics the look and feel of sheepskin. It's made from synthetic materials like acrylic or polyester, and is often used for jackets, sweaters, blankets, and more. Sherpa is also known as faux shearling. Ethnic group Sherpa is an ethnic group of people who live in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas. The word "Sherpa" comes from the Tibetan words shar, which means "East", and pa, which is a suffix meaning "people". Sherpas have been traders and alpine pastoralists in the Himalayas since ancient times. The term "Sherpa" can also refer to local people who work as guides or porters for mountaineering expeditions.
Hi Amanda, that trail cam is a fun toy. Do you keep your heating blanket plugged in all the time? Do you have a link for that super warm poncho? That area looks good for hiking. Especially since the rattlesnakes are not out.
I've been keeping the blanket on all night since we're reaching about 34°. I only need to have it on level 1 or 2 to stay warm and it draws very little power! I'll have to find out where my brother bought my cozy poncho.
Hopefully you did not just scrape the sandburrs onto the ground to spread them to another place?? They are highly prolific & very hard to get rid of. 😢
Goat heads are awful….and spread uncontrollably…..We have them in the part of WA that I live. I’m in the desert part of the state….we have sagebrush and tumbleweeds! I would suggest trying to pull them out with pliers, if you break off the part in your shoe, it can go thru the sole and into your foot…..ask how I know. Never mind…..but for future reference I’ll leave my comment.

I tried 3 from Amazon and they were all trash. Ugh.
It sucks! They need better options. My friend had gifted me one last Christmas and it never worked and it was $50 Sealy brand.

I'll have to find out where my brother bought it. 🤗
@AdventuringWithAmanda I think it is on Amazon.
I went to the Wilcox Cemetery yesterday, tell me you didn’t drive your van!!! Did you see the pit bull coming from there?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where's your new weatherstation? (I ordered one from Amazon that night as I had been thing about for my truck bed shell camping!)

Thank you Amanda
#DirtyDogBoy I think Foreigner did a cover of this. 😝
I see a lot of walking steaks around where you at
Ooh goatheads! The worst. Please get them off in the trash and not on the ground, they are getting spread
Do mice ever get in your van with that ramp?
Nope.
@AdventuringWithAmanda That's good! Maybe because Winston is there?
Needle nose pliers
Hopefully you did not just scrape the sandburrs onto the ground to spread them to another place??
They are highly prolific & very hard to get rid of. 😢
Nope. I'm smart enough to dispose of them appropriately.
@AdventuringWithAmanda wow I never said that you weren't smart. But now I know.
Awwww Wynston getting a whiff of that pizza! 😂Have a Happy New Year Amanda
Use a debit or credit card like a scraper
Have you and Brock? Thought about getting rid of your vehicles and get something bigger for you both can be together?
LOL! I would never share a vehicle with another person, no matter who it is or what the circumstances are. I'm WAY too independent for that.

@robingoff322 - You live in the same part of the state that I do!!
Amanda - Goat Heads are a pain to remove. Good luck with those.
