You forgot to mention object --> expand after drawing out the circles in the first method... My circles were connecting on the left and right quadrant before I looked at another tutorial were they used object -> expand then used the shape builder tool and it was able to connect just like you did... great tutorial tho !

I’m not sure the issue you all were running into. I didn’t have to use expand at all in this tutorial and you really don’t need to. Prior to the shape builder tool, we’re only creating simple circle shapes,

so, im just a begginer, and I was practicing pen tool with different shapes. I made a half of the heart and with reflect I made the other side. When I combine them matching point is not ideally combined.
what is the easiest way to to join these two curses so they make a perfect heart shape? :/
