Genius Hack. Dollar store tools are more than a dollar, thank you Uncle Sam!! I got one in the kitchen, the wife wont know. I like the bleep outtakes 🤣
I have a question I just bought a brand new Fender Stratocaster and I'm trying to get the plastic wrap off but I need to get under the knobs the tone knobs to do it and the volume knob is there another way to take the plastic out from underneath the knobs without scratching the guitar or taking off the knobs? Thank you
Thank you very much I appreciate it I think tomorrow I'm going to go have some locking tuners put on it and I'm going to ask them to do it for me. Thanks again. @@sillennium
Great hack! My little addition was to sand the bottom of the fork super smooth and to file down the points of the remaining tines to fit when it it really tight to the pick guard. Lastly a little electrical tape at the fat end of the fork, to keep it from scratching. Thanks for the tip!

Sadly taking the knobs off is the best method

too late for me, scratched my pick guard :(
Bummer
Good stuff. Also, I love unnecessary bleeping!
Glad someone hung out long enough to see that
thank you. i bought a 97 mim fender. it still had plastic wrap stuck under the knobs....all better now
Awesome glad to help
It's kind of funny, I actually got them with a flat comb, actually popped them off really easy. But I do plan on making one of these with a fork
Awesome!

Genius genius 😂
🤘
Great info, but is there any risk of scratching the pick guard?
If you dig way too hard you could but as long as you can get under it, leverage will be your best friend
Nice hack!
Thx
two picks work great and less chance of scratching
