small note - you need to set permissons on both exe files to allow "execute". In my case on steam deck, i needed to set that permissions

Had some trouble with this but I quickly found out the issue I was having, linux is case sensitive so (shared and Shared) are not the same folder. As well as COMPAT I was listening to what you were saying and wrote down COMPACT instead lol. otherwise great guide. Skill issue on my part.

This video was good ecxept it don't tell you how to make the .exe file in the first place. luckily i figured it out.

Thanks, easy steps.
One issue tho. I did everything while docked with mouse & keyboard. Got it working. I played it for like an hour using an xbox controller. Later I tried to play it handheld but none of the controls respond. I tried changing controller layout but it doesn’t work. Any way to fix this?
Edit: nevermind. A simple restart fixed it lol
