My mother died Oct 9th 2021, unexpectedly. I’m so sorry for your loss. I totally get it. But through it all, I finally saw the Holy Spirit as a comforter. My Comforter. God cares about your heart and your hurt. He cares, I promise. He isn’t impatient or annoyed with you. He doesn’t wish you would just stop crying. He loves you and welcomes you in to His his arms, so He can wipe away your tears. Run to Jesus❤❤❤

I love berry and this is the 1st message that was not a blessing. I am the type where I desire for God to micro my life because I don't want to do my own thing but when I say micro notnin the sense of what car should I drive exex but I'm just not capable on my own so I always expecting to hear from God and not in the sense of only spectacular or a writing on the wall but as in open to whatever he will do. Even berry when he went to Charis the 1st time God spoke to him about teaching and his plan for his life was based off that word not off I'd like to teach this and step out in faith and expect God to bless it. I believe there is a balance between waiting on God and stepping out in faith. I know we have are part to do but I love the comfort in giving every being every thought to God and just letting him do great works in me. Maybe I'm taking his message wrong, but if I am, someone clear it up for me, so I'll understand
I agree 100% with you and I’m on the same exact spot as you. I feel the same exact way and I want to add the desires didn’t always lead me in the right path so I want Gods guidance. This didn’t help me
What about where Jesus says in John 15?
“If you abide in me and I abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
You will ask what YOU desire.
Go back to around the 19 minute mark where Barry makes comment about dreaming with the Dreamer, about fellowshipping with Him. The desires and dreams he is referring to, come from abiding in Jesus, from fellowshipping with Him.
If you are born again, and if you are filled with the Spirit this all comes as part of the growing process. As was written in Hebrews,
“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.”
Hebrews 5:12 NKJV
It is like a relationship between a parent and a child, up until about the age of 13, almost everything a child does is decided by the parents but as they grow, the child starts to make decisions for him/herself. Good decisions on the part of the child are a reflection of the relationship and the guidance they’ve received from their parents during their formative years.
If you want God to “micro-manage” all your decisions, then respectfully, are you not like a 30 year old who wants mommy and daddy to tell them what to do all the time? Or do you want you mother and father to respect you for how you have grown and learned from them and are manifesting the kingdom wherever you go?
@GeoffPowell Thanks for responding. The thing is in my walk with God the desires I have are his desires which makes sence from that John 15 as you mentioned but what I'm saying they came directly to me from God supernaturally not have to guess. I guess what I'm saying is the way berry preaches is makes it seems like we decide what we do and God is just going to bless it which from my experience and from what I hear from Andrew that's not the case so with that said I take it its just me how I mistook what berry is saying. Anyways I don't want to complicate this and as for micro manage its has nothing to do with being a grown person who wants mom or dad to do it all. It all about what he's done for me and how much he saved me from where apart from him i can't do nothing and desire and want him in everything little thing, but my relationship is unique and different from yours but thank God he loves us all the same.
There is a saying from a famous pastor:" why need a wisper from God, a sign from God to know His Will ( desires) for your life, when everything that you need to know is in the Word?".
Study His Word , meditate on It, obey God, receive love, grace, wisdom from Him. Love God and love your neighbors as yourself. If your desires are not against these commandments, then your desires will be in congruent, in harmony, in agreement with God's desires for you.
God is love, peace, joy, wisdom, humility, forgiveness. God is not some big Man sitting in Heaven that you cannot reach. He is inside of you. Everybody has loving kindness, wisdom, peace etc...inside of him or her because we are created in God's image.
So what sign from God do you expect when you already have the compassion within you : be kind to yourself and to others knowing that we are the precious , beloved children of God, that we are the head, not the tail, that we are above, not beneath, that we are the winners, the conquerors.
We need to know who we are in Christ. We need to value ourselves, to feel good about ourselves in order to dream. We are not dust, worms. We are like God because we are His children..
Hope that you can acknowledge that you are Royalty. Hope that you feel God ( loving kindness, wisdom, peace etc...) within you.
Then you do not need signs from God anymore because you will act according to those virtues.

God will give you revelations if you have good relationship with Him, if you spend time studying His Word, if you love Him and want to obey Him. Talk to Him, write letters to Him when you suffer, when you are confused etc...
Just write letters to Him, empty your heart out like you talk to a dear friend. Ask and you will receive. All you need to do is having a sincere heart with Him. Then God will guide you, teach you, give you revelations .
I write letters to Him all the time. I read His teachings everyday and He teaches me everyday.
In the book of Hebrews, God said that He will teach his people Himself. Nobody can teach His people except Him. He will be their God and they will be His people.
So, talk to Him. Devote your time and your life to Him. That is the law of attraction.
We cannot watch unnecessary TV all the time, gossip, cursing, busy making money all the time, holding grudge, unforgiveness in our heart, spend minimum time with God, and expect the sign of help from God.
No, no. Dedicate most of your time with God.
