Hey Nthabi what could cause the gel to shine after application and not hold my hair (hairline)
Hey Sis. It could be that the product you used to moisturise your hair prior to styling is too oily (if that’s the case just dab some water onto your edges). If you are using the gel alone, try using it with the wax. If the products are like the ones I use, maybe you can try other products that have the same holding properties. I hope this helps🌸

What's the secret to hair sleeking down so quickly?

Should I stop stretching my hair and deal with it in its shrunken state?
Because I tried the Eco gel, my hair just couldn't sleek shem😭😭
It isn’t quick sis😭.. it requires patience. It gets quicker once you know your way around it.
Working in sections helps (I usually don’t because it feels like a mission).
I find it easy and less painful to work with when it is wet. You also use less gel because the hair is already saturated.
You can still work with it stretched. Work in sections. Use the gel with wax and wear a doek to lay the hair. The doek part is very important. I hope this helps. 😩

Hey there. No, it doesn't cause shrinking...but if you want the curls to be loose and for the hair to lay and not form an afro look, use leave-in conditioner.
