I'm definitely getting there. It has been my worst year but the weather is getting better, the days are getting longer and the boat is definitely a load better than it was.
I so want you to live your dream🤩 For all of us tethered in one way or another to things mundane while our gypsy soul cries out for freedom. I want to see your sails in the setting sun 🌞 If I could I'd send a sailing ship with a big ribbon on to you right now😅 Keep on going I feel it in my bones that something big is coming. Something great and full of wish fulfilling magic😊
Awesome progress mate, cant wait to be sailing alongside, who knows maybe we'll bump into each other (not literally of course) in scotland later in the year as I'm on my way back from Norway.
Some Chinese inverters are "okay" but the cheap ones are just dangerous as you've discovered. We've been using 12V Pure SW 2000w in our fish transport vehicles for years now and they've been very good , they're running 240v air pumps for 5hrs a day...we get them from a place called Sunshine Solar ..nothing to do with me btw.
The induction stove probably put too much strain on the inverter. We tried to switch to an induction stove but it pulled way too much juice. We went back to a gas camping stove for the time being. We had to buy a petrol generator for power emergencies. Hopefully we wont need it.
well, I could have accepted it giving up under load and perhaps it started to toast itself the last time i used it but...It was only on standby so no load as such. Bit of a mystery. The new one seems to be running the microwave very well at the moment and still waiting for the new hob to arrive....It never rains but it pours.lol
With that amount of battery power , are you putting to big a inverter on there , ? I think you will always have issues , make sure you don't have the inverter on and plugged into shore power connecting to the same I let's, I have seen this happen boom .
Havent't at the moment got a shore power connection at the moment as I wanted to make the system completely off grid. I will do a bit more on the new 4kw inverter soon...keep your fingers crossed for me!
Great videos thanks for sharing ur experience
Good to see you back great to see progress on the boat Good lesson learnt don't buy cheap Chinese electrical products especially for a boat
Thank you my friend and sound advice
You seem much more positive than when I last watched you after the break up.

That's really awesome. I'm getting there but progress is slow. I may rock up in Australia on a boat yet! x
Wonderful plan! We are on the far south coast. Best spot, in my opinion 👌 ( less convicts😉)

Yes, i definitely agree. Check what you're buying and buy from someone you trust. could have been nasty.

@@svmoondancesailing why not cut it out and just do a 12 volt boat , or 24v and a reducer for 12v system .
@@davidwarnes5158 Might be a plan if it all goes wrong again! I'll keep you posted
