IF YOU EVER LOSE KEYS/CODE!!! you can stick a long stick/metal rod in the anchor holes on back of safe. use smallflashlight in one hole to locate that reset button, while using rod to push button. push and hold button till you here beep beep beep. then reset code

Make sure u use good batteries. I was struggling for half an hour and almost returned it because it would beep but not stay lit up. I almost returned it but I put in fresh batteries and it worked fine

This was driving me crazy. I read the instructions and did everything correctly, but I couldn’t get the code to work. Tried resetting twenty five times and no luck. I finally figured out that you have to follow the code with either A or B.
Nowhere in the instructions does it say enter code AND the A or B. All it says is;
1) Enter entry code(master or user). Safe will beep twice and green light will illuminate.
2) Turn knob clockwise and open door.

What’s the difference between the Master Code and a User Code? Doesn’t seem that I need the master code to reset a new user code.

I bought the 1.51 cubic foot safe, and the directions said nothing about hitting 00 in advance, nor did the directions say anything about "pressing" an extra button A or B. The way they were written it it appears two things will happen, A or B... the code will have been accepted or not. But it doesn't say to press A or B.
Very poorly written directions.

Nice one man helped a lot but how is the easiest way to break into a safe ? I heard that if you drop it on the corner and twist the knob itll make the return spring open the lock I haven't tried it lol

I have a larger union gun safe from harbor freight it has the key pad and a round key then a turning knob and then the handle you use to open. I got into safe and then when I went to shut it my key is stuck in the safe turned to open position and the turning knob seems jammed I try my code to get in and only the yellow light beeps 3 times but will not open safe I desperately need to get into this safe very soon if you any ideas at all I would so appreciate it

A was programmed 12345678 and then the very last opening was also A.. but only 1234.. does this mean A has two codes programmed?

Steven Hartney this safe does have some quarks but it's very possible that I paused the recording and set the code back to 1234A. I think you can set a mastercode with A and a user code with A as well.

Safe is anchored to the cupboard compartment no access to the back or anything

You can try a small pair of scissors in the lock. Open them up and use 1 blade. Careful not to cut yourself put it will work. Push the blade in, pull up and turn

Just found one of these at the salvage yard opened it in 5 mins with a screwdriver and hammer knock key pad off and push the electric cylinder down put a key lock in it works for a piggy bank

I'm trying to reset my code. The thing ain't beeping or light coming on when I press entry code. I tried pressing 00 and then hold entry code too, still nothing.. You have any clues how else I can try to reset code or reset the whole thing?

Batteries are very sensitive. They have to be at the right angle. Just got a safe tonight, and had to adjust the batteries a bit to get power.

Pop off the key lock cover and try a pair of scissors. With the right pair you can get the lock to turn
