Omg that’s exactly the spot we camped in 2020. I’ve got a photo of our fire in front of that tree on our wall. It was a full moon. (It’s on our Insta page). Such a beautiful spot. The museum wasn’t in the new building yet so that looks amazing. We even had a go at doing some bones. The kyabra waterhole north of Eromanga was a lovely spot to see too.
No way! The exact same spot!! And a great spot it is. Cooper Creek is definitely one of our favourite places to stop on our way out to Birdsville. The Natural History Museum is such a great spot, and the new building is fantastic. We didn't do the bone stuff, but spoke to other people there that had and they said that it was an amazing experience. Cheers guys
