    Because the basics of boxing is when a jab comes you turn!
    If the punch is straight you turn. If the punch is a hook you go straight in

    I'm currently conditioning my forearms and elbows. Its not easy, but I know the benefits will be massive.
    I used to train with my uncle then I realized when blocking his punches, though not strong ones, my forearms felt sore for days that followed. I'm soft like a snowball😂😂😂

      I respectfully suggest you use a torsion-spring (twister) but learn exactly what muscles are flexed when using the spring in DIFFERENT ways, do not simply follow the herd with one simple motion. Good luck fella.

    Striking both the vagus nerve and carotid artery similtaneously will drop your opponent. As well as watching Master Wong, I would look at the skeleton in detail, especially around the face.

    Block hook with elbow, they leave their arm there for a few a seconds and freeze, so you downward elbow to the wrist, then close line speed punch!! 😅

    • @hanburgundy4317

      All fast movements begin as slow ones - it's imperative to focus on the technique and fundamentals of each movement to train muscle memory. That way, once you do add speed and power - once you commit - you won't have to worry about technique or accuracy. It's the same principle as golf or dance or skateboarding or guitar.

    Why is master wong scared of only boxers🥲. And it's easier to target a boxer's fist with elbows when he is wearing boxing gloves

    • @hanburgundy4317
      @hanburgundy4317 2 роки тому +2

      Wing Chun is very upright and blocky; they have good footwork and techniques for CQC. But it's not a very mobile or agile style, so boxers and Muay Thai fighters who tend to plod forward can more easily push them out and take their space.

      @@hanburgundy4317 With respect surely the scenario is a street-encounter-fight-attack and the objective is not to become beaten-up and disable the attacker long enough to escape, it's not a ring-managed performance sport.
