Yes you can have always on display set up so that it always shows the time without having to raise your wrist.

Ty for review, cant find something like this how gtr works with iphone. And what about fitness app, data from the watches transfer there? U can close activity rings on phone?
In terms of the fitness data, I haven't had much luck. But to be honest I haven't played around with it too much because I don't really care about fitness tracking on a smartwatch. I granted the amazfit access to the health app on my iPhone but it doesn't appear to be fully syncing. I also haven't been able to see myself closing the activity rings while using the amazfit.
how bad is the call feature? can you not hear them well or they can't hear you well? or is it usable? great review btw!
Thank you! No complaints from the caller on the other end but I felt like the speaker was inferior to the AW one and I couldn’t hear them as well.

@vatsalparikh3393 you have to go into the Zepp app on your phone and go to watch faces in the multiple data category. Unfortunately then u just have to scroll down awhile until you see it-there’s no easy way to just type in the watch face you are looking for.

I can’t see the description of my calendar entries in the notification: it only shows “Alert” and then it misses the whole point since I have to take the phone to see if it’s a doctor appointment or a mail to send. How does you native iPhone calendar show as notification on you watch?
Good question! Unfortunately I no longer have the watch so I can’t exactly go in and figure out if this can be and how to set it up. When I was using the gtr-4, I would often reference the calendar on the watch but I don’t recall getting alerts for events 🤷🏻♀️

this was on sale on amazon prime but i ended up getting galaxy watch 4classic. i got 3 phones so whats annoying was i need to factory reset the samsung watch everytime i switch phones. whereas amazfit watches could switch on phones without any reset. i do have 1st gen trex and 1st gen GTR. now im thinking should i buy GTR 4 since its smoother in that regard but it isnt on sale now. im thinking it isnt worth 200usd plus taxes since it doesnt have ekg and some features that galaxy watch 4 has. i got the samsung watch for 180usd on amazon prime still a good deal aside that it has weaker battery and it isnt seemless when switching phones.
The galaxy watch is definitely a good looking watch and that does sound like a good deal. I personally didn’t consider it much for me bc I figured if I’m not going with an AW I wanted to get the best battery I could with something that works well enough with the iPhone.

I don’t think so. There is a thing called zepp pay but I think it only works with the Amazfit balance which is a newer smartwatch offering from Amazfit.
Do you have a problem, that weather is not synced automatically and you need to sync gtr4 with Zepp app every two-three hours? This is kind of annoying.
I hadn’t noticed a problem with the weather syncing, but I did have to re-sync sometimes when I tried to have Alexa set a timer, which was kind of annoying.
Can be control iphone camera from watch ?

Can you see an entire texting conversation? Or just the text as it arrives? For instance can I see a text sent to me yesterday with my reply?
You just see the text as it arrives, and can only dismiss it.

Can you make the iPhone ringtone while someone calling you silent from the watch ?
I’m not sure I fully understand your question. If someone is calling, you can answer or end the call from the watch. You can silence the tone that the watch is making from the watch, but you can’t simply make the phone’s ringtone silent from the watch-only end the call.

I have an iphone 13 ios 17 and for this watch, bluetooth connection is not stable and call notifications also doesn't work
Yeah it’s not perfect. As time went on I occasionally had to launch the app in order to re-sync with the watch, but I never had an issue getting notifications.

@nimadadar8731 it’s a 14 pro max. My guess is it just is what it is🤷🏻♀️. Everything is always more seamless when using an AW with an iPhone.

I have a iPhone 12 mini. Have the same issues. Often losses Bluetooth. Don’t get text notifications
can you control what apps send notification to the phone?
You can see the WhatsApp notifications on the watch but you can’t respond via the watch.
@@Enjoyyourcarry thats ok with me. my current phone, a redmi works the same way. the issue I have with the redmi is that it will only allow me to get notification from few apps. for example, i cannot get notification from gmail or ring. what about your watch? are you able to get a notification from any app on your iphone?
@M_Y_Wolde I use outlook for email and those notifications always went through. I don’t use ring, but I can’t think of a notification that I wanted to get that didn’t come through.
I prefer the always on display to be on all the time, so what has the better AOD brightness, the apple watch or the amazfit?
If my phone is ringing in the other room, can I silent the ring from the amazfit watch ?
Similarly can I silent the alarm ringing in iphone from amazfiit watch ?
Is there any lag in the amazfit since the apple watch interface and animation have been on a different level for prolonged years?

I’d say the AOD display brightness is the same-that is, if you’re talking about the gtr 4 and the latest couple of models of the AW. Can’t silence the phone ring or alarm on the iPhone from the Amazfit. Also, there is no lag at all with notifications going to the Amazfit compared to when I used an AW.
Alexa on the Amazfit is not great at all and I kinda miss managing my email notifications like I used to do on AW. But I love that round design and battery life of Amazfit. I’m gonna do an update video soon on how my experience has been going…

I’m torn. Right now I use a gtr 4, I sold my AW series 7. I would probably go back to the AW in a second if it was round, despite the poor batter life on AW. Right now I’m good with the gtr 4 but I think eventually I’m gonna go back to AW🤷🏻♀️

No, unfortunately it’s not.
How about displaying incoming Whatsapp calls?
The watch should notify you of the WhatsApp call coming in.

Does it works with Whatsapp and Spotify?
You can see WhatsApp notifications but can’t respond or interact with them. I don’t use Spotify but you can control Spotify on your phone from the watch, I’m pretty sure.
