I came here for the motorbike videos quite some time ago, but this is so much better (and my dream). I work full time, have 2 kids etc etc and the daily grind for the wife and I can be frustrating at times. Our plan is to retire in our mid-50s and do something just like this. Good luck, I'll be watching with envy.
It's so good to see you back. I've been wondering what had happened to you so it's really nice to see you back keep up the good work with the video's it's really inspiring I've actually gone and bought a little Honda cb125f and have just started riding again after 20 plus years and that's a big thanks to you so thank can't wait to the next video take care. Geoff
Thank you so much. It's fabulous to hear you've started riding again 😀 It's tricky for me at the moment, to produce the videos while I'm in the little van and spending all my days building the big van until I drop. I'm hoping to be more frequent now I'm getting to the end. I can't wait 😁
Stumbled on this via UA-cam reading my mind and showing me something i didnt know i wanted haha. Only 5 mins into the video at this point and its the first time ive seen anything from your channel. Big brave decision, something we will definitely be doing as the kids get older. For now its every other week for us. WIsh you the best and hope everything works out for you mate.
Nice to see you again. Good luck with finishing the van and hope to see you riding again (I also got here because of the bike videos). Of course, whenever you like it. I also enjoy your other content very much. You're honest about the highs as well as the lows. And rain... omg, just like The Netherlands at the moment.
I lived in my van for 5 years and two months. I was never so miserable in my life. Prison would have been a better experience. I built a tiny house on a piece of property that I own, and life is a million times better. I know some people like the vanlife, and I'm happy that it works for them. In my opinion Bob Wells is responsible for getting the vanlife movement started. For me between break downs and some woman on her phone ran a stop sign and t-boned my van, vanlife was pure and torturous hell.
Mate I hope you’re keeping warm since you made this video. Car crashed into my bike on way to work 5 weeks ago. Been off with bad injuries. Take care on them roads buddy. Crash happened exactly week after I did my full bike license 😞
I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope it doesn't stop you from riding when you recover. I'm toasty and warm in the little van. It's well insulated and the diesel heater takes minutes to heat up. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
@@projectmidlifecrisis Thanks very much. I bought a vfr800 2 days before crash so looking forward to getting back on that. The bike I rode in crash was my Yamaha ybr125. It’s completely trashed.
I'm happy in my own company and somehow it doesn't feel like I'm alone when I share my experiences in these videos with you. Thanks for coming along with me 😀
Good Luck! Keep the vids coming!
Thank you John 😊

Hi Bob, it's been ages. I'm currently editing the next video and can't wait to get sharing with you on a regular basis. Thanks for asking 😊
