I used to feel the same way about him... That isn't an infectious laugh... That's a sinister, mocking laugh... I'd never think this, had I not seen the tantrum he had on the voice about a contestant that didn't know how to play piano. & Said it was overrated (or something like that).

However, it was disappointing to hear & see his reaction towards the contestant. Imagine how that kid felt on stage getting that kind of backlash from another great musician.

I don't think so - this man has been loved by millions for decades. He knows he is a man, too, which is nice to see in today's day and age. I had no idea how he would be today. I am assuming he isn't going around shouting something about non-binary nonsense.

@@SandraLovesRoses not sure who you're addressing here. If it's me, I've already stated that he was/is one of my all time favorites while growing up. I'm not sure what non-binary has to do with any of this, but ok. Ik I never cared or gave any thought about any of that when I was 13-50 yrs old, still don't. Still love his music, was simply disappointed to see his reaction to that young contestant, on the show. I would've though he'd handle something as minor as what was said about playing piano, a little better.

I love boy george, Now that being said i disagree with him on "it's the drummer from kiss give him the best seats" only because the drummer from kiss can afford the best seats in the house, i say give the best seats in the house to a random fan. IMO-

I was lucky to meet him a few times [2010] and although I had heard he wasn't very approachable back then he did pose for photos and signed autographs without complaining. And his laugh.... it was like a positive thunder rolling through the backstage. Marvellous ! What a man !

I used to LOVE this guy... Until I saw his tantrum on The Voice. I lost ALL respect for him.

He apologized for it. Said he misunderstood, and wrongly took offense. He calmed down, apologized to everyone when he came back and admitted to being embarrassed for the whole thing. Boy George has been through a lot of emotional ups and downs since he was a child. Battled mental illness and drug addiction. He is human and he apologizes for his mistakes and owns them.

George is undoubtedly the single most overrated 80's pop star. "karma chameleon" and "do you wanna hurt me" are meh. Catchy at best, not great or amazing. Billy idol was infinitely more. The main reason George became famous was the way he dressed.
