The outer is a cotton twill with an inner beeswax coating, so tightly woven that you’re not going to feel any wind while wearing it. It also sports a 900mm water-resistance rating. The garment is XTM-Fiber® lined, providing all the abrasion resistance you will need in a lightweight package. Extra protection comes in the way of removable Level 1 armour at the shoulders and elbows, and back protector pocket if you wish to upgrade.
The John Doe Explorer jacket’s mantra is simple - there’s always something new to explore.

Do you think you guys can make a video of the motorcycles you own/ride and why you chose them? Just found your channel and already a big fan!
It's in the plans! :)
@@UrbanRiderlondon awesome!!
Hi guys! Thanks for the video. Can you zip this jacket to pants?
How tall is this gentleman and what does he weigh? I'm trying to figure out if I should go with the small instead of medium, which is what I normally wear. I have the John Doe riding shirt in medium, and that's a good fit so I'd assume medium, but if he says to go down a size, small might be better.
Hi Dave! We have a very detailed size guide on this product which will defiantly help with choosing the right size! - Iza
how warm is this jacket? Can it be used in 3/4 seasons in cooler climates?
Hi Daniel, the jacket is for mid-season / cold weather but for the peak winter it might not be enough. - Iza
any venting or breathibility?
HI Daniel, there aren't any vents on this jacket I'm afraid. - Iza
@@UrbanRiderlondon thanks - is it summer worthy or exclusively cold weather ?
