This takes a lot more effort than it looks like. After some hits bosses relatiate and counter you with a move. This is what we call a revenge bar. All bosses have a revenge bar. All your moves and hit add up to the revenge bar . The time it takes to get to know what you are doing and what you are fighting againist takes a fucking hell of a time . Not only that of course you have to practice it . I wish Kingdom Hearts 3 had something similar to that (not hating on it I love it's gameplay) but it seems way too easy for me and many veterans players. Despite all that both games are fun.
Bro I did that once to Marluxia while on a lvl 50 crit play through and it was after he got me down to one counter left... I used wisdom form and glided around the dm each time using reflect to counter the final hit then using 2 firaga combos. I'd dodge his slash and use an ether before he did the dm again and repeated until after 2 dms when I finally beat him with a last firaga combo while still in wisdom form... I've got to say that was one of the most tense but badass moments I've had playing Kingdom Hearts and any game in general. This game is truly special. I also wish I had this recorded lol.
I really do appreciate the improvements and changes to KH3 to make the game better with the snappier combos and data fights. But man to me KH2 sora still feels like a completely different beast
I know you weren't using speed strats, but I was still kinda disappointed that I didn't see you melt half of Larxene's health in five seconds with Reflect spam. :P

@@OWmyDragonBallz Roxas’ grunts and noises he makes in battle got updated for some reason in both versions of 2.5 (at least I think it was updated in the PS3 version). I guess it was to make him sound more like Ventus, but it was an unnecessary change.
Actually it’s a mixed bag. Jesse’s portrayal of Ventus was re-purposed but deepened, while they used his battle grunts from 358/2 Days. Otherwise he has new battle clips exclusively for Final Mix
Watching the Saix fight is like the KH equivalent of having your tank and healer die and you just DPS solo it on an MMO raid boss. Edit: I thought Saix was Xenmas xD.
The most mind blowing is the fight with Marluxia. You literally cannot take a single hit or you’re done. I would never play the game on this mode just for this reason alone.
The thing Marluxia whispered to Sora at the start of their fight was not that KH3 isn't coming out, it was, "KH3 is totally going to suck, also, I am actually one of Ventus's close friends". Sora: I don't even know who Ventus is.

Actually, there´s a reaction command sometimes in the fight that allows you to steal his Keyblades, making all of your moves more powerful, especially while using Limit Form.
Watching this after watching the KH3 data battles really solidified that KH3's animations are much flashier, but KH2's feels like they have more impact in their finishers. Does that make sense to anyone else but me?
It's all about the sound and visuals. KHII's sound design has much more punch and the visual effects like keyblade combos are more prominent. KHIII's sound design is mediocre and very lightweight, and most keyblade moves look and sound lighter. Sora's doing mostly the same moves but III's design holds the impact back.

Yes. Having to pick form changes via using keyblades is annoying. They should have kept drive forms, and gave keyblades new and unique attacks per form.

I recently beat all of the daya fights in critical mode, not level 1 btw and I grinded like 10 defense ups before hand and these fights were hard, this guy makes it look so easy.

For standard ground combos decisive pumpkin always has the best damage output. For Demyx and Axel magic is really good though, so bond of flame and mysterious abyss help a lot.
For the roxas data battle how did you pull off that insane dodge to go around the light circles but also under his double slash that was very impressive.
How did you memorize all the moves? I dont know how to and I keep losing a majority of the data fights, any tips would be appreciated, thank you. Also you are too good lol.

Man,I still remember when combat was Quick and needed all your attention specifically in fights like roxas,I remember I screamed yes at the top of my lungs when I beated roxas,and even cried,there's never been a game at that time that made me feel so relieved that it ended like kingdom hearts did,man I miss the og games
I thought this would be of help for my attempt to level 1 the data bosses... but that looks no fun at all. I can't run the whole thing that perfectly and probably not close enough that anything else will help like peter pan or whatever. I do have one question though. When the goal of the video is to never take damage, why are some bosses fought with the kingdom key?

No it’s the data fights or fighting against the organization in the Disney worlds. That’s one of the nitpicking parts.

For standard ground combos decisive pumpkin always has the best damage output. For Demyx and Axel magic is really good though, so bond of flame and mysterious abyss help a lot.

For the absent silhouette for larxene whenever she does an attack just use reflect when shes done then counter attack

Man,I still remember when combat was Quick and needed all your attention specifically in fights like roxas,I remember I screamed yes at the top of my lungs when I beated roxas,and even cried,there's never been a game at that time that made me feel so relieved that it ended like kingdom hearts did,man I miss the og games

I thought this would be of help for my attempt to level 1 the data bosses... but that looks no fun at all. I can't run the whole thing that perfectly and probably not close enough that anything else will help like peter pan or whatever. I do have one question though. When the goal of the video is to never take damage, why are some bosses fought with the kingdom key?
@@mr_mik3yyy thanks, depending on if those restrictions are more lenient or not maybe I'd have a chance to try them. If the kingdom key actually helps survivability that is.
