Holly cow! You guys must have really done something bad in a previous life! I don't know how you stay so positive. (but now I know where you got your channel name)
I'm Australian ... Same shit here .... Buying anything from the Motor industry is very unpleasant it seems .... A Global disgrace as the Motor Industry self destructs ......By Poor Quality Product & Service !!! My Brand new RV died 10km from the dealer .... 5 Weeks & Two dealers later the RV was finally fixed ....
@@irritatedtraveler yea, registration creates title. Sadly you usually can’t trade in a fresh cash purchase. It sets off all kinds of red flags.. people paying with bad checks and absconding with the car and all kinds of silly crap It’s sad. I’ve been there trying to get rid of a car that hadn’t been registered and was forced into registering it. We e titles too Now in your case, you should have had a packet of paper work with your names on it and in that packet of papers should have been the mso (manufacturers statement of origin)… if it was used it would have had a title With all of that, they could have done a reassignment of title on a simple form once it was verified your payment cleared abd all was legit Most dealers won’t do that but that’s the legal way around it.
WOW, just WOW. I can't believe how much trouble an RV is and that one is really nice too! I had no idea. You two are awesome to put these videos up for us to see. Great stories with intricate details. I'm watching all of these in a row.
Have you ever had an experience with an RV that was positive ? Even with all the problems that you had, its nice to see that you can smile through your problems... Is there any RV brand that you haven't had any trouble with ?
Folks, re your suction mount for your camera: To avoid having the suction mount in view, you can purchase online a flat metal disk with super strong glue on the bottom to used with a suction mount on a surface that won’t by itself hold a suction mount.
This is video #4 of yours I've watched. I now GET it! We're most timers. Thanks for sharing the seedy underbelly of rving! There are limited resources and the boone of rving is killing us dedicated rv'ers! Please God I hope this discourages people from rving so we can continue our lovely lifestyle as it as become so "peopley". You rock!
Please make sure you hire a certified R V inspector to inspect whatever you buy next before buying. Also, do not take it off the lot until everything is fixed. If they won't allow this, run away.
Guys I give you a round of applause for your positive attitudes! But maybe some force greater than all of us is trying to tell you rv’ing is not for you!
I want to compliment you on your presentation. Excellent video, audio and content. Many of your issues are common but still maddening. Some are due to your inexperience others due to poor management by the various companies and many due to apparent sleaze by some of the companies. Your generator problem is a good example of your inexperience and a sleazy repair facility. The DEF failure is a known issue by Freightliner. We should all have your demeanor when dealing with our problems. May I suggest that you number your episodes so that they can be followed in order for those of us who came in late. I took a quick peek thinking I would not be interested but got quickly hooked.
5 thumbs down from American Eagle. I live 25 miles from LaMesa. I get tons of emails from them because I've been considering a purchase. You are beginning to change my mind on that. It's one thing to deal with a car dealer, I can't imagine having to deal with idiots on a rolling house.
I have enjoyed watching you two, great that you have been married for over 24 years. I would like to know what business you are in. I agree with some comments earlier, always have the RV inspected by a qualified Certified RV inspector. Even if it is new, or should I say, for sure if its new. It's just like buying a sticks and bricks home, have it inspected. Your videos' are very enjoyable and well done for amateurs. Very well done for amateur's. Pleas keep posting them.
How patient you guys are in AZ you pulled in fireworks place guy bugging you about title for other one in FLA I woulda went off right there amazing you guys like the video keep em coming better luck guys coming
Great videos. How do you guys finance your travels? You don't appear old enough to be retired. Wonderful chemistry between the two of you! Have you both really had COVID five times?
A lot of people buy a used motor home so that all the bugs are worked out already. Of course this is not a sure fire solution but it does help. For me I try to learn all I can about a particular brand (Monaco) and just stick with it. Monaco went belly up in 2009 and with all the new emissions crap they put on a diesel engine these days I searched for a 2006 or older. Any way, just a thought and hope things get better for you guys.
I have watched several of your video presentations and I take it the American Eagle was a demo coach, when it wasn't sitting. Did you have it inspected by a RVIA inspector before you took possession. This isn't intended to be a critisism but a question so I can wrap my head around the series of problems you encountered. I have in my rv'ing life, purchased a new Class C, and two new Class A Dp's and I didn't encounter any major problems. The problems I encountered were superficial and since I was near the the manufacturer in In. on one of my trips I went there and they took care of all of them and even updated my gps free of charge. I'm not defending the industry, because I do know of relatives and friends who have had problems and spent months getting them sorted out. I wish you luck gong forward. Oh and do you think you will ever get to change the name of your channel?
We weren't concerned about a professional inspection because we could fix 99% of the items ourselves. We have dealt with inspection companies before and they really offer no guarantee when it comes down to paying for faulty inspections. If we were forced to sue someone, we would have had a better chance to recover costs from the factory or dealer as opposed to a private individual.
With all the trouble you have had with your coaches this can not be an isolates incident ! have you talked to any other RV owner that have had issues such as this. this must be wide spread through out the RV industry! This is very disturbing.
Being a owner of a vehicle you need a title otherwise the people you got the vehicle off will still be the owner of your vehicle you need to get the title for it otherwise you don't own it
Thanks to the Govt. with there emissions, this is what happens. I drive a tractor trailer for a living.theyve ruined diesels. since either 2019 or2020 they have made significant changes to make it better. so between 2007 and about 2019 good luck with that stupid def
I HAVE WORKED ON SEVERAL RV PLATFORMS OVER THE LAST 25 YEARS AND CAN ONLY SAY THIS... I WOULD NEVER OWN ONE BECAUSE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN THEY ARE PARKED WAITING TO BE REPAIRED MORE THEN THEY ARE ON THE ROAD. WE ALWAYS JOKED THAT YOU SHOULD PLAN YOUR TRIPS SO YOU ARE NOT TO FAR AWAY FROM REPAIR SHOPS. SELL OUT AND BUY A NICE CAR AND STAY IN HOTELS IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY AND YOU SEE MORE OF THE COUNTRY THEN JUST A PARKING LOT WAITING....

What do you think the real deal was, they got a more lucrative offer? Sleazy dudes.
What a nightmare!!
I know In NC a dealer can’t accept a trade with out a title. Im a dealer here in nc and if I don’t have title, I’m not making a deal.
Some states like FL only have a digital title. Since it was a temporary registration, it didn't have a title.

Is there any reason why you have no def fluid??
I wish it didn't have DEF fluid!!
Well they can just forget about me buying a $1 million land yacht
WOW, just WOW. I can't believe how much trouble an RV is and that one is really nice too! I had no idea. You two are awesome to put these videos up for us to see. Great stories with intricate details. I'm watching all of these in a row.

Dude you are ripped. How do keep in shape being on the road all the time. And your wife is stacked!
Good thing you guys have a sense of humor I would be in tears by now
I’ve been following you guys for a while now, and one thing I’ve learned is, I don’t want an RV. I hope that this 2020 gives you less issues.

Arizona has on line titles and you don’t get a paper title unless it’s paid for, surprised la mesa couldn’t figure it out
This is correct!
Please make sure you hire a certified R V inspector to inspect whatever you buy next before buying. Also, do not take it off the lot until everything is fixed. If they won't allow this, run away.
Pay for a professional inspection...GOOD ADVICE!
cant believe u bought another american eagle!!!!!!
Guys I give you a round of applause for your positive attitudes! But maybe some force greater than all of us is trying to tell you rv’ing is not for you!
nice! I like the dash videos. you guys have been through a lot... good luck and thanks for sharing!
The lesson seems to be, don't buy an American coach!!!
You his are an example of calm cool collected
You two.... what a horrible experience you have been through. I don’t know how you have kept your sanity. I hope things are getting better.
Wow, i love their interaction.
Cummins DEF headers are junk
So what was the issues with DEF ??
Bad DEF fluid from the pump at a Travel America Station along the freeway.
Why the heck didn't you just add more DEF fluid?
We did but it didn't register on the gauge.
I want to compliment you on your presentation. Excellent video, audio and content.

Did you ever have jobs to earn the rv lifestyle?
Yes, many!
Hey, question Hoss.
What the heck you do for a living 🤣🤷🏼♂️
Anything that pays well!!
Never had a positive experience with the Freightliner location I had to deal with.
Sounds like a Lemon from the get go.
hey Ang and Mike...JoeyT here.....OMG you guys have the worst luck HAHA
The RV life is a total pain in the ass , forget it , never.
Enjoyed y’all video

In addition to all the home, it's also a Freightliner truck, very complex devices, these RV's.
How patient you guys are in AZ you pulled in fireworks place guy bugging you about title for other one in FLA I woulda went off right there amazing you guys like the video keep em coming better luck guys coming
😂 You needed to take that to the nearest hurricane and park it in a low lying area and leave it. Nature would take care of that BIG problem.
Great videos. How do you guys finance your travels? You don't appear old enough to be retired. Wonderful chemistry between the two of you! Have you both really had COVID five times?
We sold everything and hit the road! Yes, Covid really likes us!
She is easy on the eyes
Your story sounds as bad as what we experienced when we bought our new coach in 2017.
Having a large RV seems miserable.
It's great until you have a problem!!

Your first problem was getting involved with La Mesa in Arizona horrible place bunch of liars
Ooh gosh….nice nicer nicest
Oh geez how terrible it must be to have them kinds of problems! Life is so tough 😆
Rich people problems.
I'm just jealous is all!
Living the dream

I can’t believe how many irresponsible people there are out there and unreliable. I go through the same stuff up here in Central New York.
If it weren’t for bad luck...
I really like watching you the only problem I have is her voice was on blast and I could hardly hear his voice it was a real struggle to listen
Freightliner is only the chassis. The defense and engine problems should have gone back to Cummins or whoever the engine manufacturer was.
With all the trouble you have had with your coaches this can not be an isolates incident ! have you talked to any other RV owner that have had issues such as this. this must be wide spread through out the RV industry! This is very disturbing.
I would drive it right back to where I bought it from and make them refund me.
This is just messy
Being a owner of a vehicle you need a title otherwise the people you got the vehicle off will still be the owner of your vehicle you need to get the title for it otherwise you don't own it
I can’t imagine you losing your temper
good try! think you have wrong hobby,
Stay online, your videos are getting the factory to respond, IMO.
Crazy lol

Same story, extremely boring
It wasn't as boring as your videos Tony Stewart
