Much like other commenters, i too cancelled my subscription a few months back. The changes they have made have been for the worse especially with regards to their shipping processes. The only change that was awesome was the magazine introduction. Thank u for being honest in ur video that there are reservations about using the company
I have really good feelings about the company, I just feel like sometimes they struggle with communication. For super big changes like this, there should be an extra letter or post card in the box.
Apparently they are only going to be sending one skein if yarn with the membership crate in March thankfully I had already use my membership points for March so I don’t have to pay for it but I’m kinda disappointed I know if I will be getting anything from them after March
Um... yikes. I just checked and the website said that you get at least two skeins of their premium yarn, but doesn't say anything about the grams. (My first throught was that it had better be a 200 g skein!) Or maybe they meant only one colorway? At least they've removed the Artisan crates from the website now. I'm really hoping that the announce the other cool things soon.
ChemKnits Tutorials yeah I checked the app and it said 1+ skein now I’m kinda disappointed with how they keep changing everything also they have announced the yarn they will be doing on KnitCrate UA-cam video
@@keish8789 I avoid watching the videos because I don't want spoilers on the colorways. I read the emails and check the website for information usually. And wow, you're right. When I checked earlier today I could have SWORN that it still said "at least 2" but now I see the 1+. There are going to be a LOT of upset people in March... oh boy. They should have included a letter in the last package updating everyone to these changes.
The continual changes and unpredictability are the reasons I quit with this company after just two months. They just can't seem to get their act together.
I completely understand. I believe that there are some things that have happened that were outside of their control, and then some things that were likely their mistake. There is a big change coming that I think should improve a lot of the experience for everyone (depending on how the implementation actually works out.) I know the rest of the crates are already planned out for 2019, but I did give some suggestions on things that they could do that would be super exciting and mix things up a bit. (fade sets, miniskeins, gradients, Colorwork patterns.) Of course, I've never spoken to the designer of the colorways, etc, so I'm not sure if this will be taken into consideration.

The yarn is a bluish purple. Sort of a periwinkle color.
