I was raised in a household with a dad that sang and played guitar in various gospel choirs when we were growing up. We enjoyed going to church and listening to the songs performed by traditional gospel groups local and national as they visited the local church's in Durham, NC. But it wasn't until my younger brother Randy introduced me to the sounds of the Canton Spirituals and Mr. Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's out of Tupelo, Mississippi. His music gave me a life-long appreciation for Quartet music and years later I'm still inspired, motivated and blessed by this very talented and blessed man of God.
