Oxhydro+ is an innovative solution from Magneti Marelli Parts & Services for cleaning residues from combustion and the engine intake system. The oxyhydrogen generated by the equipment is introduced into the intake duct, mixing with the air sucked in through the filter. Its effectiveness begins in the combustion chamber where, through a pyrolysis process, it eliminates all residues from: piston head, cylinder, injector nose, valves, spark plugs, glow plugs, etc., without heating the metals. In fact, the heat is expelled together with the exhaust gases which, as they pass, decarbonise the EGR valve, the turbocharger, the lambda probe, the catalytic converter and the FAP/DPF.
For Diesel, Petrol, LPG and CNG engines.
Instead, the intake ducts are cleaned with a cleaner specifically designed for our integrated Intake Cleaner device, which can be used on all types of internal combustion engines. The suitably nebulized detergent, coming into contact with the carbon residues of the intake system, softens them creating a progressive removal.
