Being a Celtics fan since 1978 I have a soft spot for most former Celtics. Pierce was smooth. It's funny, he looks like he is a half step behind, but he was deceptively strong and like you said, fundamentally solid. Also, remember, he was the best player for years on (relatively) bad teams. So he was typically guarded by (one of) the other teams best / better defenders. The other team knew he was going to shoot - a lot - yet they still had a hard time stopping him. I do understand why you kept saying the high light is "boring." haha I get it.
Paul was underrated because he had to live a number of seasons with a really crappy roster and I was there for most of the games. When they took Antoine that was the only chemistry Paul had! But little did he know....
