@@DielectricVideos on the 36 horsepower when you put the generator back. Where is it on the neck does that have a gasket?. I try to watch other people on UA-cam but your other closest person that gets closer detail. Thank you please let me know.
@@davidnunezmontecarlo5422 There's a paper gasket between the body of the generator and the top of the generator stand, like this one: www.wagen-werks.com/case-generator-seal-bug-25hp-36hp-to-1960/ However, the generator I had was from a different year, and never quite fit correctly. So, I used a fair amount of RTV and some generic gasket paper to seal mine. It's also important to be sure there is a good electrical ground between the generator and the case, so it may be necessary to run a ground strap if you find that the gasket you make breaks the electrical connection to the case.
@@DielectricVideos okay thank you big help. One more thing where did you order your rebuilt kit your head gasket covers . I don't know if I mentioned but I do have a 36 horsepower. I would like to rebuild.
@@davidnunezmontecarlo5422 I bought this gasket kit from JBugs: www.jbugs.com/product/111198003.html I didn't do a full rebuild on my 36hp, but rather I just disassembled it to free up the siezed crank and clean all the dirt out of it. I reassembled the engine with nearly all original parts, and bought a few missing accessories separately.
Very cool, my friend John, thanks for what you offer us

Hi boss what you doing with that small engine
If you mean the 36hp engine, I'm using it as a backup engine if the 1600 is ever out of service. It's not installed on anything currently.
