Hello! I don't know if you reply the comments but I'd like to ask something. I know some Korean but sometimes I stuck and don't understand some expressions. I loooved Sungjin's intro but I didn't quite get what the lyrics meant. Since it's the title song, pretty much everyone shares the official lyrics and I have a trouble with finding an alternative that's closer to the literal meaning. Since you make your own translations and give special care on delivering the original meaning, is there any chance for you to rephrase Sungjin's lyrics in the intro? Or explain what his part means?

It’s quite tricky since the lyrics in sungjin’s part directly translate to what's in the video. Since the lyrics are short and the meaning is mainly implied, the best we can do is find the best interpretation. The words used imply they were previously faced with a situation that took away their confidence and determination to carry on. The way I see it, “a broken word” & “laughter that chips away” meant that they seemed cold/numb, speaking dejectedly or depressed and having emotionless laughter, as a metaphor to explain their situation before meeting the one who saved them and melted them down!
