- If Buddy Dawn has no fans I am dead
Praise Bacharath!!
Fantasy High: Junior Year, Season 3, Dimension 20, Dropout
Episode 19
Brennan Lee Mulligan, Ally Beardsley, Lou Wilson, Emily Axford, Brian Murphy, Siobhan Thompson, Zac Oyama
Dungeons and Dragons, DnD, Critical Role
Genuinely adore how Buddy's vibe as NOT changed in the slightest
The last thing I expected and yet the most perfect choice as always 😭
Honestly, I think that's a clue that he has actually been hateful and angry this whole time. He's a religious bigot, of course he was. He just hides it under cheerful civility and offloading all responsibility for the harm he causes onto his god, whatever god that may be.
“That boy sees a path and runs down it”
Oh!
The devils honey!!
The second Buddy was introduced I texted my friend “I love the Mormon ass corn boy” and I’ve stood by the fact that I’ve adored him the entire time.
Buddy about to invent his own diety just like Kristen😂
:O BACHARATH REAL PLEASE
Literally my first thought when he continued to praise Bacharath even when told that wasn’t the real name 💀
Bacharath S4 BBEG/j
Wonder what god Bacharath would be and also Kristine dumped dexterity, buddy dumped intelligence
Fun fact, Baharat means spice in Turkish. So maybe with a little twist it can be the god of food and spice?
@@emiruysal507 back door crossover with the crown of candy verse perhaps??
“Buddy, Bacarath is Not Real,” has such an energy of an exhausted adult trying to get a point through to a child, it is On Point 😂
I have to wonder if he was a hypocrite, or if meeting Helio was just so bad he’d do anything to get away from him
I think it might be a thing of not being ready to die and choosing to live through rage.
I thought they said that when offered the choice to get resurrected in Ankara's name, the option was to NEVER be able to reach an afterlife and therefore be irrevocably and permanently dead. Pretty bad fate in a world where communicating with the dead is relatively common.
Honestly I think what Kristen/Ally said about him just needing someone to follow regardless of any real connection is probably most accurate. Buddy isn't really at a point where he can stand on his own and search for his own conclusions (like S1 Kristen), he just wants a leader to tell him what to do/think which, considering who his grandfather is, makes sense. He's still probably one of my favourite ratgrinders; even though he's lowkey spineless he never fails to make me laugh
@@ef1876 He deserves redemption. Kristen and Gorgug should Believe Baccharath into existence as a cool ass himbo god of healhy rage that saves buddy's soul through some divine-bureaucratic shennanigan. Knowing brenna he is probably even planning for something like that to happen
Edit: I like this plotline so much that let it be know, Baccharath, I belive in you and I praise the way you leave social spaces to vent really loudly into closed secluded enviroments every once in a while when your sempiternal divine rage gets a bit above board after witnessing too many injustices
I hate to play devil's advocate, but if I had the choice of being resurrected and forced to worship a new god of rage or be sent to a part of the afterlife where nobody could EVER reach me, I think I, and most people, would choose the first with the chance of being saved by a higher power.
I love throughout this, Jace still has a bit of teacher in him like ‘I am gonna say it gentle right now, hes not real ok slugger?’
Jace trying to corral a bunch of teenagers has made him weirdly endearing to me, even if he's terrible.
This season was all about the npc's and them just being comedic gems
I actually forgot buddy’s name and thought Jace was just calling him his buddy
Out of all of the rat grinders, I only feel bad for Buddy. Yeah he worshiped Helio but Kristen was able to see who she used to be in him and could see a kinship and felt a small connection in like “There’s more out there beyond what you’ve been surrounded by all your life.” He also wasn’t part of Lucy’s death and was killed by his own party.
In Bacharath we trust
gonna get this tattooed
Dang I really like Jace’s vibe, but I can’t wait to see the Bad Kids obliterate him and Porter. I’m gonna miss ya Buddy
I wish we got a sneak peak into seeing Jace deal with all these teens
Buddy Dawn you will always be famous in my heart
Totally thought this was gonna be about Mary Ann Skuttle, God's gift to the fantasy high universe. Buddy Dawn is fine too ig
I gotta be real...
I love Buddy!!
Buddy is my favorite antagonist because he’s barely an antagonist. He hasn’t really *done* anything to make us hate him, he’s just so innocently stupid
I swear if there's not gonna be a mini-season set in Spyre where somebody plays Buddy Dawn, I'm gonna need a ride home
How does Buddy still have spells if he completely abandoned Helio and doesn't have any idea of the new god he's supposed to be worshipping?
pure stupidity (I assume you've watched the end credits scene in the season finale by now)
Buddy not getting the memo in time and becoming a true believer in Burt Bakurath is wonderful.
Why is he just me when I was in the church!? Buddy you sweet summer child...
If your favourite character is a religious zealot you should probably consider therapy.
anybody: I have a slight idiosyncracy in, like, anything at all
yall motherfuckers: You should spend thousands of dollars and dozens of hours in -Catholic Confession- "therapy".
are you?? good??
he's a teenager whose caretaker is a hateful religious zealot bringing new gods of rage into the world. key phrase: he's a teenager. we like him bc he has hope for redemption (kristen was basically just like him freshman year and found herself too) and has a funny southern accent. hate his grandfather, the man who made him as religious as he is. don't hate buddy he's just a silly little guy
how come?
Im in therapy, my therapist would tell me not to guilt trip myself over liking a fictional character. That's not how good mental health actually works. Maybe YOU should take your own advice and talk to a therapist? It's really nice.
@@lucas56sddtherapy is great, I use it for PTSD, it's an hour twice a month and mine is free through a DV program. This guy's being a putz but let's not totally knock therapy eh?
