Well, apart from the fact that Attack On Titan hits a little different in 2020, Season 3 wraps up with some big decisions and a lot of interpersonal business to hash out. I don't know what I'm most relieved about, that you finally picked this back up, or that in doing so you minimize the amount of stuff you can get spoiled about. I recall asking about when these would come back, but I tried to limit how often, so as not cross from concerned into nagging. So about the episode. At 18:15, if you look at it, Eren isn't being that dumb. He's touched Historia before back when Rod almost fed him to her. The difference is that while Historia is of royal blood, she has not been titanized, while DIna Fritz was, and when he actually made use of the Founding Titan's power to control titans, it required a royal who had been titanized. Oh, and Historia was in fact there when Eren used the power at the end of season 2, that's when Ymir said good bye to her and all and went to help Reiner and Bertolt. Yeah, the end of this episode could basically have "bittersweet" stamped all over it. Since you don't quite remember how Levi chose to titanize Armin over Erwin, it's was essentially a "I'll let him rest", he recalled that he straight up told Erwin "give up your dream and die" for his strategy to get to the Beast Titan, and he also thought back to Kenny's "everyone had to be drunk on something to keep going on" when unconscious Erwin slapped Levi away and muttered back his question about humans beyond the walls when his father was a teacher. About Ymir's backstory, what you saw in the anime would have happened in this episode if it had been the same as the manga. We only learn about it when Historia reads Ymir's letter they got from Reiner when Hange was ready to execute him, so after the entire lore dump of the basement reveal.

EDIT: The manga is still going, but given that the Final Season is slated for 16 episodes; it’s highly probable a second part will happen.

I would try avoiding comments for season 4 or getting a mod, there's been a lot of people spoiling in other reactors' comments obnoxiously enough, there's A LOT of stuff that'll happen next season and you'll really want to be surprised by it.
