Hang Gliding Nationals 2022 - Task 6

Task 6 took us back up towards Mt Owen a tough day with lift stopping low and a head wind to contend with. The only task of this nationals where not one pilot made it to goal. After trying to get in to wind a couple of times and failing I began to challenge myself with how low I can go and still get a low save, I was surprised with the results 😂

Good question, I’ll be keeping my eyes on te waewae bay towards the end of the season as the mountain conditions become a bit more stable 🤓. What is the name of the flying site that it reminds you of?
