I’ve done both, but u prefer the wash and go into a twist out. I actually only wear twist outs this way 😩 lol. I feel like a twist out on freshly washed hair for me is uggglleeeeeee 😂 Yours looked real good & I bet you would’ve got more definition & longer result if your hair was wetter!

It came out cute! 🥰💜 I used to do that to my WnG if something came up on wash day, but I mostly avoid twist-outs because mine always look like a WnG. However, since the CCCA diagnosis, I can't use that refresh method at all because my scalp won't let me.

I used the doux sexy bee mousse & refreshed with water & a little the doux big poppa gel! Received so many compliments! I will definitely try aunt jackies' products!
Day 5 still looks REALLY good. I think you could have gotten away with just using a little warm water and conditioner. I get using the foam for a little extra hold. Great results achieved when you’re not quite ready to wash; just wanting to refresh your style. Luv the fluff and definition. Thx for all that you do. You Rock!

I thought to do a twist out from an old wng previously when I first started thinking about how to use up my stash but never followed through because I am not good at twist outs. This video came right on time because I actually went straight to my room and did a twist out on my old wng 😂 as soon as I finished watching the video. This would be day 4 for me not counting wash day and I will update you tomorrow on how it turned out. This is also a good way for me to practice my twist out techniques. I used water and some Mielle hair milk as my wash day was all Mielle products except I used the Aunt Jackee’s don’t shrink gel and wow the water sure activated that gel 🤭
I'm glad this video sparked you to try doing a twist out to stretch out your wash day. I can't wait to hear how it turns out, and yes, the water definitely reactivates the gel. With that being said, don't be surprised if your twist seem really shrunken. Wishing for the best🤞🏾

I need to do twist outs regularly until I get them to look how I want them to look then I can try this again.
