Lily smashed down the establishments walls with her sharp wit and street wise working class relatability. Very risqué for the BBC. AND she did it WITHOUT attacking anyone personally.
I REALLY hope all the channels do complete montages of Lily/ Paul's career... a lot of the younger generation missed out on a lot of fun & laughter.. maybe they'll learn how to have a laugh...RIP Paul ❤
I feel so sad when I see Paul and Lily it makes me realise that we've lost such a talented person. I loved Paul's animal programmes, he always showed such compassion and empathy for animals, he adored animals and they adored him 🐾🐾 God bless Paul, you're dearly loved and missed 🐕🐩🐶💜❤ xx
"2023 Paul Ogrady as Lily Savage epic rant (never seen bbc)" is the opening monologue of the the first of the TV shows and it's truely an epic rant...hope you can find it xx
Oh Boy , Paul was ace , if only everyone could see where Paul's Dad was brought up , 5 miles up the road from me is the beautiful village of Glynsk, Co Galway and the people are just old fashioned county decent souls and it is easy to understand Paul's mix of Liverpool and Ireland .
So sad that the world has lost a perfect & pure soul. Rest in Perfect Peace, Paul. (he’d have a laugh at this sentence with all these “P”’s in it!) I hope you’re up there with Buster, looking after all the other animals on Rainbow 🌈 Bridge 💔😢
Looking up paul o'Grady I had never seen this series! ...ohhhh my god it's just fantastic! He was so Incredibly funny! What an amazing man ...he was people person ..he loved animals...an amazing entertainer! I just can not believe he has gone because he had such an enormous presence! Where ever you are Paul I hope you are surrounded by all your family and friends and all your pets that you adored...rip you kind, gentle, funny man ..❤❤🙏🙏
Absolutely heartbroken by the death of Paul O Grady. Have been binge all his programmes , and have ordered all his books from my local Waterstones bookshop 💔🥲
actually if you know anything at all about the wonderful, tolerent , inclusive paul o'grady, he would have hated that facile, lazy derogatory term 'snowflakes'. we presume that you are being ironic...
This term ‘snowflake’ makes me laugh so much, as it’s used by the people who are offended and whinging about the people who are offended, which makes them double snowflakes.
Joanie C I always feel like La Rue was more of a female impersonator rather than an actual drag queen entertainer. I think La Rue could be compared moreso to the modern day beauty queens and pageant queens of drag whereas Lily is a stronghold diamond in traditional British comedy drag which still lives on in Britain just not as prominent as it once was
@@Nathan-on2vr Yes, apparently Danny hated the title Drag Queen for his act. He always referred to his act as a female impersonator. I wish I got a chance to see her live but what I’ve seen, just stunning. The same with Hinge and Bracket.
I’d rather be woke, than a bigoted cnut. Paul OGrady was a huge supporter of trans rights; he was a gay man who raised funds for AIDS/HIV in the 80s, and gave physical support to those receiving palliative care. He was a regular at Pride, and had been a social worker for SEN children . He championed minorities and championed social justice.
@dannythomas9702 Are you actually being serious. His act during the 90's and 00's would never have seen the light of day over the past few years. It's the reason so many comedians can't be funny anymore, because comedy has been hijacked by the woke. Don't be so naive.

He inspired me to start my own private shelter and to adopt & not buy.
R.I.P Mr. Paul O'Grady...with all your beloved animals & friends .❤️

Whatever you watch, he seems to need no script. It seems entirely improvised. Deceptively clever and charming man.
Madeleine Vetier. No deception at all. Of course Paul was obviously clever, he came up with comedy gold time after time completely unscripted. X
Best way to a mans heart? Straight through the back with a pick axe 😅
I have missed Lily sooo much!!
Now this is comedy, love you lily xxx
First Queen I ever saw as a child to me Lily is Drag ❤️
Yes please come back you make me laugh so much 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The BBC ident balloon at the start - that’s Eilean Donan Castle, I live 5 minutes drive north of it. It was the castle in the Highlander film.
Breathtaking part of our beautiful country! 🏴❤
Love lily and Buster Elvis Savage who Paul dedicated one of his books to. Love him.

He’s died,28 March 2023🥺
Baring in mind that original comment was made seven years ago, it doesn’t exactly make the person seem unaware of the news. (Unless he’s psychic).

GREAT.!
When comedy was funny, no one took offence and the only snowflakes you saw was from the sky in winter, God bless Paul 💜💜💜

The original rupaul she had shows before rupaul was known

Who's the son?
Jason Savage aka Daniel Newman who likes to takes his clothes off 😄
so a like my sister ANNA BOTTING
Another victim of the the Woke PC brigade, that's why comedy is dying a very slow death.

You are clearly so triggered by this. The irony is comedy in itself.
