Very proud of what UT accomplished this year. Getting wrapped around the axle over a single loss is just as bad a ohio ceting over not besting Michigan in four years. Its just one game.
Our offense needs more creativity. All year, I've said our offense is too predictable. Also, I don't understand why our defense doesn't use the same defensive schemes other teams have used, such as Michigan against Ohio State and Ole Miss against Georgia. Better receivers would obviously help as well, but the coaching, more specifically on offense, needs to step it up. We had a good year, but I believe we can be better, but we have to take a leap and be elite as opposed to just good. Florida is going to bring it next year, and we need to exceed what we did this year. GBO! 🍊
Two yrs now... The defense was a lot better in 2024 than in 23.. if not it would've been a 7 win regular season.. same stagnant offense last two seasons.. wasn't all Joe and Nico's fault like we were suggested to believe..
VOLS are fine, they made progress, there will be some staff changes, some players will transfer, and they will get some key transfers, on top of that, they also have a top 10 recruiting class coming in, I look for the VOLS to be better next season...
Tn. seems to be playing scared like a Phil Fulmer coached team. What happened to the excitement of Heupel's offence. He had better teams with Pruitt recruits.
Tennessee not willing to spent dollars needed to take the next step. Hell `USC jr. is spending more. Need top RB but continue to recruit 3 stars on RB and DB.
Judging by patterns, 8-4 next season is a possibility. Florida and Alabama on the road Georgia is a loss At lest one loss in a game we are favored in. Next season will be a telling season in the Josh Heupel era. For better or worse.
I'll make a bet or prediction right now because tennessee is tennessee they will not do as good next year as they did this year/ they do not have what it takes to be a big time college team
When you start every game against high level competition in the hole, its hard to come back. Why do they come out the gate all season with mistakes and turnovers? Even Vandy had a double digit lead off the jump. Coaching! Stop allowing Heupel to get off with saying “ I am disappointed”. Well freaking fix it or get out of the way. He recruits ok, not great. But who could when you fold on the big stage. Congratulations you beat bama. But you lose to Arkansas trying to lay on a 1 point lead? Yes you jumped all over Oklahoma. Only to lay down on cruise control the entire second half. Came back on Florida. A team you should destroy. At this point keep him on as a qb coach.
