Not much point if Xarkira became karma for them. The corrupted Celestial here might just be unlucky or she could have cleared them out. Frankly I understood their position. It was pragmatic and inconvenient but from a meta perspective Mark was creating consequences for the teams actions and failures.
Love it, love it, love it. I always love combat that isn’t just a punching match. Character development while under stress is great. 😊😊 HR is my favorite. 😊
FINALLY I'm up to date! From your very first episode of the Lightfall campaign and the entire way through I watched every week (vod squad over in Australia) and you all got me through some very dark times. Then when the Aerois campaign started I was with you for the first little bit but then I had some serious medical issues that took me out for a while and I fell behind and it became such a gargantuan task in my head to catch up (yay mental health), so I didn’t and it made me really sad but for some reason I still just didn't, and then it became more and more episodes and I was like 'well now I really *can't* catch up, it's too many hours of content'. Eventually I got sick again but this time it wasn't as bad so I just had a ton of time on my hands and I thought how much High Rollers got me through all those years ago, so I have spent the last 3 or so months watching about 130 episodes of Aerois and now I'm FINALLY able to watch the last little bit live with you all and I'm so happy to be here. I can't wait to see how it ends. Thank you for everything you all do.
Funny… back when they were choosing crew for the storm chaser… I was actually playing Breath of the Wild for the first time, now the campaign is near its end… fighting a horrible battle with that same crew… and here is Tears of the Kingdom… it’s really come full circle for me.
I know it's kind of the point, but thinking about how far the party has come blows my mind... They've gone from small scale fights against bandits in the woods, to full on universal warfare! Everyone has had such a good character arc and it's all culminated in this giant effort to save the universe. I enjoy how all of you get into your characters and really think about their actions, and I love the world that Mark has put together for it all to happen in! As sad as I am that the campaign is almost over, I can't wait to see how it ends! P.S. I've finally caught up on the VODs and can watch the next episode live 😁
This is the final battle, so the casualties are to be expected, but they still hurt 😢Still, it is for the right cause and, hopefully, it will be worth it in the end. Good episode! For the algorithm!
Yeah, that’s like a level 7-8 sidekick. Mark just really wants to kill his NPCs and give us emotional damage lol. 😂 😭 Edit: in all seriousness, though, they hardly spent much time on the Stormchaser. When they got back from Elysium, they were pretty much teleporting everywhere or narratively fast-travelled around. I’m like 70% sure they forgot half the crew even existed.
Thalia walking into the Tassidar meeting room : "Were in the big leagues now crew" * immediately puts feet on table. The rest of the room : This is a parole meeting and you have outstanding community service.
Spoilers It really looked early on like the ship rolls were going to be the death of the party. The Wolfpack still got wrecked but I was really worried about a TPK.
High rollers jinxed themselves from the get go with their show name Also I’m so excited about these episodes, struggling to watch live like I normally do because of exams but still really loving them when I catch up! Update (*SPOILERS*): Lancion NOOOO. Gosh damn leaky eyes. I hope there's a memorial made when they get back to Aerois with statues of all the fallen people that fought in these battles
This is really stressful, this should have felt like a fly swatting exercise for them but instead it was a struggle. They are lvl 20 about to go up against a literal god and they are struggling to defeat 3 enemy minion ships… it doesn’t feel like it makes sense narratively speaking… P.s this is no fault of the players, I feel like mark does an amazing job at giving them challenges but when you zoom out and look at the overall narrative of the story it just doesn’t fit.
all things considered it was pretty easy for them compared to stronger enemies. like with Kalus, all but Aila were down, here just quill fell and that was due to a very unlucky attack that crit. For the crew however, who are obviously not demigods like the pcs, these kinds of enemies be huge struggle, so this actually makes a fair bit of sense.
I don't know why the party suddenly doesn't care about anyone besides NPCs. It's been like this since around Stonemaw encounter. What's disturbing is how happy Tom gets when NPCs his character should care for are dying. It's beginning to get disturbing, tbh.
I love how they keep saying it's going to happen when they lose someone and they put forth zero effort to save someone.. such great good guys... I've made it through this campaign and totally don't think of them as heroes but as a group of people who barely made it by.. love the story but these guys weren't the heroes who were needed
Alila made the tough call to save the ship. She did set up something to try to safeguard the poor woman. If we were watching this like a movie, there would be a clear moment of hesitation and worry on Aila's face before charging downstairs. Quill has been the one who was the most apathetic about their friends dying. Sociopathic tendencies. The rest of the crew has been more lax on morality and caring about those risking their lives for them. Since Stonemaw or a little earlier.
Bro he said this stuff to hardcore mode.. no way this is how it normally would go down in most campaigns... Guessing that's why I'm still watching them kill their NPC army
Yeasss! Also, is it just me that wants quill to message the wings of ishtaar and just mock them for not helping?😂
Exactly what I was thinking
Not much point if Xarkira became karma for them. The corrupted Celestial here might just be unlucky or she could have cleared them out.
Frankly I understood their position. It was pragmatic and inconvenient but from a meta perspective Mark was creating consequences for the teams actions and failures.
The bit was up to standards this time; my confidence as a shareholder is renewed
*SPOILERS*
2:27:12 I can’t believe Callus Goddamn Starbane just got hit with a ‘yes, dear.’ moment 😂😂 they are so cute
if the npcs are not minions I think they deserve death saving throws
Mark points out that they are. I probably should have grabbed the time stamp but I didn't know I would need it.
@@MorinehtarTheBlue He pointed out the wolf pack are, not the officers
I think you should do that the next time you DM a campaign that lasts 4+ years.
Love it, love it, love it. I always love combat that isn’t just a punching match. Character development while under stress is great. 😊😊 HR is my favorite. 😊

Greatest DND show of all time

I learned so much about the traditional British signs of summer!
I hope someone cuts all of Marks bits together in one video. Especially pog horn.
The healer uses 20k gold worth of healing potion on himself instead of waiting for a short rest and using hit dice.
I'm so happy I got caught up again before the end so I can enjoy it with everyone.
What i wouldnt give for a vox machina style show for Aerois
I know it's kind of the point, but thinking about how far the party has come blows my mind...

"The closer you are to them, the stronger they will be"
Also mark: gives some of the their closest allies 50hp and a +7 bonus.
Yeah I love high rollers and Mark’s DM style, but man his balance is all over the place sometimes.

Balancing loads of NPCs in combat is a fucking nightmare. I can't and don't even blame him. The players don't care too much, so doesn't matter anyway.

Finally all caught up.
Me to after 4 months of binging
Wow just in time m8
I’m not crying over the crew, it’s just my allergies
1:16:16 for the clips. Another Markism turned bit
And 1:42:15 for Mark having a good time with Harrison Ford
High rollers jinxed themselves from the get go with their show name

This deserves more views, more likes for damn sure. Love the content HR crew.
Thanks again 🎉❤🎉 loved the bit
This should be a good one

Spoilers:
Totally agree with tom on using the Supreme potion.
I hate this episode in the sense of killing off all those npcs it feels so bad to see happen
So.. Thalia is Han Solo, Nova is Leia, Sentry is Luke Skywalker, Aila is Chewbacca, Quill is Obi Wan Kenobi, and Lucious is Lando Calrissian
Oh boy, I am so scared for the Stormchaser crew..
Slight bug on the overlay, it says Sentry is only level 18
Not a bug exactly. I wish they updated them as soon as things change but they don't usually have the time.
When i picture the valkerian emipre and its ships all my mind can really see are Zarkonian ships from voltron defender of the universe from netflix 😂
If there were ever a time to use action surge outside of making a bunch of extra attacks…
Spoilers
Skip this if you don’t want to see crucial info
Last chance to turn back
REST IN PEACE LANCION 😢
A dark day for twink enjoyers everywhere
Holy shit it was sad and then Mark had to hit us with fucking Howard goddamnit
Damn. Finally caught up except for today's episode.
Me too after a fair bit of time. I usually don't worry about Twitch though so it's good enough for me.
Did they lose the redundant engine on the Stormchaser?

oh my god is there a monitor or something next to their camera? Trott kept looking at the camera and it felt like a 4th wall break lmao
Idea for an Aerois spinoff: The Adventures of Jerklord Dickman

does anyone know what the music at 33:45 is?
Wy tf do the crew not have saving throws thats so fkn dumb
Is that extra stream coming to youtube aswell?
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

18:24
6 = KILLTROCITY!!
Why is sentry level 18? her character art card was 18 just at hbd end of the combat
