  • This painting, usually known as the Primavera [or ‘Spring’] shows nine figures from classic mythology advancing over a flowery lawn in a grove of orange and laurel trees.

I was looking for information about Botticelli's Spring. I found thisvideo but couldn't watch it. I tried to contact the museum but their contact form doesn't work. It figures.
It's very nice that they made this signs video but they should do a second video without a person in front of it. I am sure they feel good about themselves at the museum because they are so "inclusive" but in the end they are just virtue signalling because their video is only for the 9% (estimated) deaf or hard of hearing people in Europe, for example. They are actually exclusive and ignore over 90% of the population. The guy showing his tongue and gesticulating frantically in front of the painting is TOO DISTRACTING and ruins the video for people who can hear well.
The Uffizi museum online is not for "everyone" as they falsely claim. It is for a minority only. The guy even covers part of the painting!!!
Only philistines would cover part of a classic painting that people want to see. What the museum did is an insult to Botticelli and to art.
They could easily do an "alternative" video for 90% of the population . Just film the painting for 6 minutes and add the existing narration to it. Piece of cake!
